Question

Is Opera being cr@p or am I?? When I installed it (on my laptop) I was on a customer's site, on their network, and didn't need to configure a proxy. This obiously then worked ok from home. When I got into the office, I couldn't connect to the web because I didn't have the proxy configured. Sooo...one proxy added and bingo, connection from the office is ok. Next time I tried to connect from home, it moaned because it couldn't find the proxy! OF COURSE YOU BL00DY COULDN'T!!! I'M AT HOME!!

Now, with IE6, it's configured to use the proxy, and when I use the dial up connection from home I don't need to change any config. Is it Opera being a bit rubbish?? Or me?

Cheers
Iain

No it's not rubbish.....your just too used to IE doing a Proxy auto detect every time you use it (which increase your IE started up time).....
