i no we all go on about our 'spirited drives' with the factor, but has anyone done the opposite??

i'll go first

friday evening, appx 7:00pm i was driving to the g/f house 7 miles away on the A roads. it took me 40 minutes and i did not exceed 2500 rpm in ANY gear.

yes you are not alone, but i only do it coz i've running in my new thing. other than that the mellow drives would be few and far between.

beleive me, that was not through choice.

if i had any hair, i would have pulled it all out on that journey

 

how comes you did that then? fuel warning light on? traffic? avoiding the g/f?

i live in london - ie traffic.

so much for the congestion charge bull ****

 

spent 4.5 hours on a German Autobahn over easter and went 0km...

 

130 miles from Gatwick to my place, with a space-saver spare on the rear... 50 mph all the way. Used 1/3rd the petrol though...

 

i think i used more petrol sitting in the bloody traffic

 

drive like angel in brum to many coppers hehe drive slow when the missus is in the car

 

Manchester to London to Manchester average 80mph all the way there and back, and I got 370 miles to a full tank

almost did the whole trip without having to fill up

Japfest friday night, Manchester to Midsomer Norton over 6 hours to get there, 2.5 hours to get back
