SBR 2.35 Bugeye Wagon JDM WRX AVCS Project
Cheers. At high HP levels there's lots of heartaches, headaches and patience required not to mention money for the always "unexpected" cost....mine was out for just over a year being tweaked before we took her to Pod beginning of Apr.
A proper mid 500s HP set up on a new age should see you in 11s...don't expect low 11s though as it's not that easy! I pulled an 11.1 at 575ish with full weight and spoiler back in 2010.
Next trip for me to Pod is May sometime, weather dependent. When are you due to go there?

We are made 12.1s on our spec and on road tyres, with Toyo R888 we are hopping with get to high 11's,but we will see
As we are planning too go there at may,but really depends on weather as you are said and more importantly on day off,but if everything will go Ok we should be coming on Santa pod this weekend Sat/Sun

Thanks matey,we will see how we decide

Few updates:
Neil@Slowboy racing swapped our Syvecs S6Pnp for CANbus one(Thanks to Charlie@SRR for ECU),now we can connect the Dash2 to the Syvecs and we can monitor some functions
At moment we can stream from Syvecs those functions:Boost,RPM,CAL position switch,AFR,Water temp, speed is hard wired via RT speed sensor to the DASH2
We are bought extra sensors(thanks to TimH@jti.uk.com) for streaming other parameters and here are listed:Oil temp,Oil pressure,Air intake temp,Fuel pressure and just needs to get K-type thermocouple EGT and all plug to the ECU,all is configured on DASH2 for streaming, now all gauges we will remove, which will be much better and cleaner look at car
All this work has done Kieran@Race technology, been there for 10hours(he re-wired whole Dash2,plus configured the DASH for streaming, plus reflashed the Dash2 with right FW,because our DASH2 been in fail mode, after few attempts sending config file) and he managed get our Dash2 to work and now is working as should be,just problem is now fuel reading is not as we are like and needs to be done again
Other news,we are bought the Spec c roof vent
,can't wait to have this fitted and few other bits will needs to be done on Tuesday when car going to Ryan@C+K Motors, for some bodywork repairs
We are want go today on Santa pod,but we are not managed get fit our 17" Toyo and my brother must went to the work at 2pm,which means will be close call and we are decide abort the Santa pod for now, until we have more time etc.
That's the news, thanks for reading and for comments

We was thinking about the everything and really we are thinking keep the engine and go with MDX321V billet on our build and see what is limiting factor on this engine,in Neil's and our view are heads and with V we will know for sure if is there limiting factor or not.
Second thought we are thinking get Harvey Up pipe which can/should help in term of spool up,not sure how much we will gain, but will be nice to see if is there some sort of gain in term of spool up with Harvey Up pipe

I done the harvey up pipe and noticed the difference right away with spool up on my garret gt28 which I thought was a bit laggy, but I also got his ported headers at the same time, which I feel contributed to the quicker response I was getting after the parts where fitted, it's a nice mod to do.

very nice Jura...good to see you are making the most of the Syvecs\Dash functionality and the lack of gauges will really suit the look of your New Age

Will be nice comparison test against the GT Spec Up pipe

Yes Rob

Jura
Yes Carbon Ian,plus some bits for Renault too will be carbon dipped

Few more bits we would like to add, plus new rear wing we would like to add there: Voltex for wagon is nice, but pricey

Jura
While Jura's wagon is with me under going work he asked if I could update as work progressed, first job was to pull the front end off to gain access to the intercooler for painting and also the front panel needs some allignment to get the shut lines correct from bonnet to grille.
Here are some pics of the car as it stands now

The intercooler was starting to flake due to no etch primer so first job was to get all the old paint off,bit of a chore but got there in the end lol

Next step was into the booth for some etch/wet on wet primer/black base followed by a light clear coat, all layers are very light to still allow heat exchange.

Also got a little start on one mod which should look pretty trick when done, only a little taster shot of the first cut for now

More to follow over the coming days

Nice Ryan, but I'd have made the edges straight around the roof vent
My FMIC will be coming your way for similar treatment I think - might have to find an excuse to come across with a box of bits

Need to tidy the edges up and drill the hinge holes now but not far away from done
You are always more then welcome Jon but I thought it was Martins turn?

You know Martin's Mrs won't let him anywhere where he might spend money on his car

Little update:
Few parts has been sent to the Wicked Coatings for carbon dipping like for our Renault(complete centre dash, speedo surround and pillars) and Subaru(dash clock and speedo surround),hopefully we will receive this in coming week and should be looking nice
Plus on Sunday we are going for wagon(we will return wagon for doing remaining works such as detailing and repairing bubbling arches),which we on Monday take to the TimH for fitting all those sensors and finally wiring NOS to the ECU,looking forward to have all those done, plus my brother have finally few days off and this now allow to do those things
NOS will be mapped on Tuesday at SRR,NOS we would like to have only for spool up,we will run only 25-35bhp jet which will be enough, like for some gain on bhp side and torque side
