Nah, Bomber was a big American Style cruiser thing, definitely bigger than a Grifter, my cousin had one,

Never had the urge for a Vector, was a bit embarassing, possibly was a bit old and on racers by the time it came out.
Thinking about it you may be thinking of the Boxer, which was in the same range as the Grifter, with the Boxer at the smallest end and the Strika in the middle, bit like the Budgie, Tomahawk and Chopper range.

Still remember the birthday I got my Boxer. 
Later had a striker, a friend had the Grifter, my brother had a Chopper.
Then I went on to a Raleigh Night Burner.....my favourite bike of all time.
Would love to know how many miles I rode on my bikes as a kid, we spent every waking hour out on our bike. Still had my Night Burner until fairly recently....until my brother took it to the tip without telling me! It still had the original pads! 
Later had a striker, a friend had the Grifter, my brother had a Chopper.
