There is absolutely nothing wrong with an opensource remap assuming the mapper knows what he is doing. I wouldn't listen to all the scaremongering from the ECUTek crowd ... ECUTek or Opensource, they are both editing the same tables in the ECU at the end of the day. It's the mappers skills and knowledge that are most important for a good and safe remap.
