OK here's the roof in daylight.
And while I was at it I fitted some new fuel hose, Sytec fuel filter and the billet seperators.
I think some interior bits need a trip to the local "hobbelist" for some matching up.
Car needs a bloody good clean too.

My point of view, so feel free to disregard.
The car looks awesome, but, lift the bonnet, and look into the engine bay and see "garden hose".
Goes from superb, to a bit of a joke.
Sorry but to go to the extent you have with the lateral links etc, the clear hose spoils it for me. Even black hose would look "better".

Like the fuel pipes were leaking so found some garden hose and thought that`ll do. Its probably far from the truth, but just think that with the rest being such a high standard, it stands out more than it should.
And I did say "My point of view, so feel free to disregard."
I think its one of the best classics out there, just with the level of attention to detail I think it detracts form the whole.
Just my opinion, and I say it as I see it.

I can see where you coming from and opinions are like ar*eholes, everyone has one.
To be honest I think you are f**king stupid paying all that money re-spraying your car the same colour after all the "will I, won't I, oooh guess what colour it is thread".
But again that's just my opinion.
And don't get me started on the driving through puddles like a tw*t piece in a public carpark either.
GRENADE!
STAND EASY.
Oh did that sound harsh, sorry.
The other thing with clear hose, you can see the lovely go-go juice surging through the veins of the car. Never seen a clear garden hose either.

All that money lol £500 is such a lot for a full car job, thats usually £1500, and my paint was shockingly bad. Fair enough with the colour change I expected that, even though I was going to do it, and was only a last minute decision to go back blue (despite what others think).
And the puddle was 10-15mph, unlike 90+mph that some do on trips.
But we digress, if your happy thats all that matters, and as you say "Opinions are like ar*eholes. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks."

Ian, I went to wash the taxi today and found a small hole in my hose pipe :-(
I know it's a bit cheeky mate, but have you got any of the clear garden hose pipe you used on your car left over ??
Cash waiting .....

Sadly not mate. I was syphoning puddles of tears up, it was such a laugh .
"And the puddle was 10-15mph, unlike 90+mph that some do on trips."
It's not the speed but the fact it drew attention and it was in a public carpark the fuzz had only just left!

I like what you've done with the car Ian, those hose seperators are nice where did you get them and are they available in other colours?
Ian, any chance you could bring that cleaner to the meet on Wednesday as well?

Valet machine will come as well.
The billet hose seperators are off the bay, they are very light and do come in all colours.

Been having a sort out while the Scoob is getting some TLC with Ryan (aka Prodriverules) and laid out all the bits I need to do in May. PCAD will be the last day out for a while as I really need to get my sh*t in one sock.
Not shown on the picture are the new cambelt covers and TSL Sport cat. Jarv as done another awesome job on colour coding some interior bits, including the roof trim for the flap, which I can fit when the Scoob is back.
Jarv, I'll be down next week mate if your in?

You have new tensioners and metal pullies, can`t see a belt there though.
What you going to go for a Cosworth (Gates Racing) belt??

UPDATE
Finally got round to getting some bits fitted over the weekend.
Started off by getting it on the axle stands and getting the wheels, calipers and discs removed.
I have new brake shields and the old ones proved to be pretty crap. You can also see how corroded the track rod nuts are too, both sides where just falling to pieces.
The bolts into the ABS Sensors are just as bad and one as sheared, I may as well get two new hubs they are so bad.
With the track rods off it was time to get at the wishbones. Again the bottom bolts to the hubs where in a shocking state and one is just rotating and the retaining bolts to the hub have rounded off due to corrosion.
So I took the ARB and the PAS Rack off.
The rack brackets are in good nick, the rack is pretty corroded, the rubbers are shot and the bolts have seen better days.
Disconnected the steering column, that was an easy one .
Then the PAS pipes.
Things then ground to a halt as I need an impact gun for the main wish bone to chassis bolts.
I am now a shareholder in penertrating oil. The amount of rust and crud that's fell off is unreal, check ou the garage floor!
