Crap couple of days .

Managed to get the NS front hub all sorted out and pretty much 99.9% done. Fitted the ABS Sensor and the Fecking bolt snapped so that now needs drilling out. Thankfully Dean, in 3 Arches is on the case.

The OS front hub is proving to be a complet ar*e wipe. The drive shaft and CV have refused to part with each other and I now have to buy a new CV joint to fit in the new hub, having said that the grease thart was in there was bogging. The bolt from the cone into the alloy arm refuses to come undone as well but it will all come off as one piece as I have new alloy arms.

It looks like next week will be very busy to get ready for the PRODRIVE visit. The car is going into 3 Arches for a few day's for geo and a quick check over to make sure all is well before the trip, snuggled up next to Merv's R.

Onward and upwards.

Very bad day .

1. Went to get the tyres fitted but the Falkens I asked for and was told "Your in Luck!" were not actually there . I now have to pick these up on Saturday instead.....................grrrrrrr.

2. Order the new CV joint . But this was replaced by when I compared the old one with the new one.

Here's the link to the item, I even asked is it the right one and was told yes, it's going back Monday after a stern phone call.

The car is due in Three Arches Monday for a post refresh health check and geo . I have three days on the road and Prodrive is coming.

So, if you have a spare front OS Drive shaft complete or CV then drop me a PM.
