Something doesn`t seem quite right about how this came to an end, at the press conference both the woman chief of police and the other investigating officer couldn`t get out of the room quick enough after they delivered their press release.
They wouldn`t answer any questions and they seemed to be making a point of saying "no shots were fired by the police" as if to put the onus on Raoul Moate by insinuating that he chose to take his own life.
None of us know the facts but if you were to make a calculated guess on what we know then you would have to say that Raoul Moate didn`t make any sudden movements towards the police with his gun because if he had of done he would have been shot by snipers and not by a tazer gun, their too much of a lottery at that distance. You have to ask the question why were the tazers fired at him if he wasn`t threatening the police or the public ?
Again its only guess work but you would think based on the evidence which has been reported you would say that he either shot himself because the police opened fire first with tazers which made him feel threatened that they were going to surround him or shoot him or the tazers caused a spasm which made his finger pull the trigger.

I really couldn't give a toss about the detail of this case. The guy was a "serious menace" and threat and at least now its over! He isn't wasting any more tax payer's money becos he got the hump with his gf which could have been better spent protecting a little old lady from a mugging rather than delivering KFC to some BELLEND Gazza allegedly knows.........

Northumbria Police haven't come out looking great from this whole episode. Firstly it's taken then a week to find someone in a relatively small area, secondly a lot of the Police hardly looked professional in a lot of the media shots - armed Police wandering about in tatty jeans - bloke with the taser-gun looking like he was taking the ****.
Then to top it all off when they finally found Moat all the local coppers raced to the scene, one of the Police cars crashing into the back of one of the others

Had a good long chat with a mate of his today, found out some interesting things.
The coppers really wanted him, they apparently hated him, he was a very naughty man, they have apparently been trying to get something on him for a while.
He really was a dangerous, mentalist man, for example there is a group that is well know for "running" Tyneside, if you know what i mean (you can google it) i really dont like getting involved in this stuff at all, they have taken over local business, and used to take protection money from my wash site years ago before i got it, this chap was apparently taking money from "the group" by walking into the brothels with a few heavy's and turning them over at the end of the night.
This is not what i would recommend to be done, these people are utter animals, seriously, they murder people, slice people up with machetes if they dont get protection money, and generally used to take what they wanted, they are well know to police.
They still prowl around looking for easy ways to make more money, just a few years back they tried getting free car washes from a site just down the road from my mate, some young gobby chav was working there and told them to FACK OFF.
They left, then returned in a Range Rover, knocking the kid over on site, then jumped out with bats and clobbered everybody else to ****, apparently they now protect that site, i still remember that day, as some gnarly beefcake came into my wash, and gleefully told us how "what they want, they get" never seen him before, never seen him since, maybe he was just a member of the public who looked a bit rough, he paid for his wash though, although the lad who served him was ****ting his pants.
"Mick, its all going to start again" etc etc
You dont **** with these types of people, seriously, you simply DONT, people think that this kind of thing does not happen any more, but it bloody does! only a a true mentalist would go against the grain with this stuff, but he did.
I wouldn't, if they came and pestered me i would close up shop, i would instantly stop and go elsewhere, you can not win with these types, just ask the bloke who owned the haulage company just down the road, he now has a bomb proof car, because he helped put some bad people away, this is serious ****!
Some of the more interesting rumors going around up this way at the moment.
The "new boyfriend" was put in undercover to help bring down some deep crime rings.
Moaty did not want to kill his missus, so adjusted the shotgun round to mame her but did not want to kill her, and saved the more powerful one for the new boyfriend.
Loads more to be honest, but i really dont want to be that involved in it.
