Raul Moat found!
Which is a pity as I was hoping they would shoot him.

Don't worry, plenty of time yet, either by his own hand or by the hand of the law.
why dont they just take out his knees/elbows to disarm him
oh yeah, "his human rights" YAWN what a waste of feckin time and money |
Stunned by the shockingly shabby shambles of a "news" report on bbc at the moment. If you have nothing to say then just don't bother, just desperately filling air time at the moment.
They want to capture the "live" moment that it all goes down......sad sycophantic TV if you ask me...hence I am watching ashes to ashes.
Now I know why they have so many speed cameras.
Never seen so many BMWs |
ashes to ashes you say,,,,,, what channels that on please?
I'm afraid Ashes to Ashes is currently only on the BitTorrent / Newsgroup channel :(
Ill stick with AC/DC on sky arts then....
just fill him with lead if he doesn't put the weapon down, don't pussyfoot around.
send in that bloke Callahan - he takes no sh1t

Gazza on the radio, tanked up in Rothbury with some cans and a takeaway :lol1:

The footballer, who arrived with a can of lager, some chicken, a fishing rod and something to keep him warm, said he hoped the stand-off would end peacefully and referred to the gunman as "Moaty". |
*sigh*
They have brought him food and water, his friends, and are talking to him. I don't say this often, but this time we should adopt some of the tactics from the US. Tell him to put the gun down, or shoot him. I really do not understand what is so important about capturing him alive, to just put him in a hole for many years, and then worry about what he may do when he gets out. |
Gazza -- poor bloke probably thinking "what John Motson done now"
Gazza can change the world.
Dont think its gazza is it ?
from the accent, unless the lager has affected him a bit more ?!?!?!? |
ah yes,the 1st time i heard it i had poor speakers

Why don't they just spike the food?

I think he may be implying that lots of cameras = lots of fines = lots of money for the police to have fancy cars.

...but what a sad turn out it is for someone who had such a gift when he was younger. Daft as a brush. |
