Raul Moat found!
Which is a pity as I was hoping they would shoot him.

Stunned by the shockingly shabby shambles of a "news" report on bbc at the moment. If you have nothing to say then just don't bother, just desperately filling air time at the moment.

Awesome
The footballer, who arrived with a can of lager, some chicken, a fishing rod and something to keep him warm, said he hoped the stand-off would end peacefully and referred to the gunman as "Moaty".

*sigh*
They have brought him food and water, his friends, and are talking to him. I don't say this often, but this time we should adopt some of the tactics from the US. Tell him to put the gun down, or shoot him.
I really do not understand what is so important about capturing him alive, to just put him in a hole for many years, and then worry about what he may do when he gets out.

AAhhh I see what he's implying... however if the BMWs are deployed finding a murderer that' money well spent. If a friend or family member of mine were murdered, I could not care less if the officers deployed to catch them were driving a Proton or a Maclaren.

Why? Is there any doubt he has done it then? I think one of those snipers will shortly become his trial and sentence because as soon as he turns that handgun towards the police that's him gone.
