You mean b4st4rd.I wanted to post the ginger thing Anyway - just shoot the ****** - it worked for us in NI for 20 years. I honestly think that 'shoot the feker' should be a law enforcement policy.Imagine the though process"Lads - lets go shoplifting - What the worst that can happen? ASBO?"v's"Lads - lets go shoplifting - whats the wrost that can happen? Bullet between the eyes?"Let's face it, would you ever consider speeding if the police could legitimately shoot you dead for 5 MPH over the limit?

So they drag him back down to Newcastle when Rothbury has its own hospital ?
That would be a canny little journey for somebody who had just been shot .....

It's a sad thing that Gazza is in such a state. I met him a few years back in a gym in a hotel at Jesmond, he was alright & seemed straight.
Moat was never going to give himself up, I was surprised he shot himself, I got the impression he wanted the police to take him out. All in all it's been a colossal waste of tax payers money, all because he was bent out of shape over some lass

I don't mean to make less of the fact that people have lost their lives by this bloke but am I the only one that think the media is going a bit OTT?
Just watched Breakfast news on BBC and the way the "specialist" was talking about him you'd think he was an extra from Universal Soldier. This woman was going on like this guy was some kind of uber SAS, SWAT, SEAL veteran.
I know the police have to be seen to be doing the right thing and ding everything possible for fear of (again) the media backlash if he killed again but it was one man. I suppose the police are panicking in the wake of the dude last month killing a bunch of people.
Its not the police as such I'm complaining about (and complain is a bit too strong a word) its the media making this guy out to be anything other than a physcotic thug who got hold of a gun.
The media makes me feel so scared about my future I better go out and spend my money on a new TV!

Media overhype almost everything, now that this is partly over they will overhype the hot weather this weekend, and tell the nation the dangers of going outdoors in the sun and what we should and should not do..

the media outlet with the biggest opening here is viz. Moaty has put himself up as a real life 'Big Vern' right down to the 'no ******* copper's gonna take me alive' finale.
Check next issue, it will be in there, guaranteed.
Astraboy.

Apparently he committed suicide in the end.
Its a worry, and a pity that someone who was so well respected by his friends before all this should become so mentally disturbed.

i thought sniper s can though, the army snipers aim for a place in the head, where they know the brain stem is so they instantly drop with no chance of a reaction, ie hostage situation.
