Thumbs up Update

Little update:

What a piece of kit this is, I an chuffed to bits with it but kicking my own A** for not getting one sooner!
Coming from a traditional handset to this is a revelation

It took me around two hrs to get all my contacts updated and sorted, did them all on the PC then Synced them over

Had A little issue with with the alerts but then found the flip switch on the site, it was on silent

Texting is a breeze, I never used to send that many as I always found it easier to voice call but now its simple.

Internet is easy and fast and its nice to have your e-mail s on the move.

After 2 days of ownership I'm hooked.

I'll be heading into the App store later for a look, any must haves I need to look out for?

One question, How do you send multiple texts, I cant figure that one out

Other than that i'm sorted for now but I'm sure once I get into it I'll have more questions

Big thankyou to all that posted on this thread, stars the lot of you

you can send multiple texts by pressing the "+" and adding a contact, this can be done as many times as required.

Create the folder on your PC, when you sync email accounts the folders will be on your iPhone ready to use.

The best thing I have noticed with the iphone is come resale time. People are prepared to pay stupid cash for them. I'm due a new phone in 6 months and what ever the choice is I think I will get the newest iphone as I know I will be able to sell it and buy virtually any phone and still have change

I seriously doubt your 10 year old phone had a better camera.

The camera is let down by the lens, you can have a two hundred megabazillion pixel camera but if you can't fit a good lens then it's never going to be a good camera.

Are your pictures as anything like these? www.iPhoneImages.com Not perfect but shows that the little lens can take an OK snap.

In the right circumstances I think the camera is fine. Obviously it's utter poop in low light conditions.

My camera appears to work fine, have you taken the lens cap off.

I've found my first tiny gripe.
I keep placing the silent switch on the side to silent all the time.
The switch is a little to easy to move IMO, must be doing it has it goes in or out of my pocket.

Its still great though
