What supporting mods are there? (Apologies for all the questions but I need to convince myself of the benefit of the turbo change!)

As per what Kev said. Boost kept low as it was on standard management (the turbo will run much more). The methanol was easy and cheap power, it was rude not to!
I'm on a front mount (hybrid), DV delete, 800cc injectors, uprated fuel pump with FPR and uprated clutch. It's (for me) such a useable conversion. Lovely low speed manners, negligible lag and lovely on boost power.

The boost on my car is controlled via an AVC-R currently 1.65bar tailing to 1.5 bar at the top end with the MD321H Would this be the sort of target with the SC42?

JohnD
PS I'm travelling up to TOTB on the Sunday. Will SC be there with turbos available?

Billet GT30 on a 2.1 stroker, ported heads and Cosworth cams but no AVCS on this one.
Mapped on an Alcatek ecu and running VPower and 20% meth.

Do you have a boost graph also? I'm very interested as the 2.1 I'm building up for my P1 will be on ported v5 heads with NO avcs and I was thinking of a GT30 billet.. (although I'm not sure if over 500bhp on a ROAD car as light as a P1 is actually necessary )

That was my though exactly.I was thinking of just something over 400/400 on stock STI TMIC and panel filter (due to hars laws against modifications here in Slovenia).

Still hoping to see a graph

Thanks, it looks like that would be mental on the road!

Few questions:

Do you have vpower graphs? (I'd like to know how much earlier the spool is with meth)
What spec cams are they? (Trying to figure out how much they moved the power band to the right and affected spool over std)
What's the rest of the supporting mods; studs/injectors/manifolds/valve size/ecu?

Unless the owner wants to keep the spec secret...

Cheers

Cosworth rods, pistons, cams 272, valves + 1mm, 14mm studs, 1200cc Five o motorsport injectors, RCM manfold and twisted kit, stock inlet manifold and throttle body, Alcatek ecu with Closed loop knock, idle, wideband and Toucan touchscreen and additional sensor pack with oil pressure, oil temp and fuel pressure monitoring, alarms and trips.

VPower vs VPower and meth graph.

Peak figure on Vpower at same 2.1 bar was 531bhp.

Isn't there a standard position GT30 billet available also? - does anyone have any graphs showing a rotated GT30 billet vs a standard position GT30 billet? - I'm assuming the rotated has a larger intake tract?

I believe it's offered with 7cm^2 and 8cm^2 exh. inlets.

Smaller one ideal for 2.0.

Larger ideal for 2.1, 2.35, 2.5 and above (if you want to gain a bit more bhp without significantly adding to the lag).

Just realised one of the graphs was omitted. Once Pat got warmed up and we switched on the water methanol which most cars don't have we coaxed a bit more out.
