Careful recycling crankcase/heads oil breather vapour back into the sump, Im not entirely sure why but condensation can form which is basically water, which then mixes with the oil and creates a yellow sludge which is then going back into your sump and circulated around the engine. The stock setup allows the CC/heads vapour to mix back in with the intake air or with a catch can setup it is caught and stored separately. The only solution for these air/oil separators is regular oil changes if you still wanted to install one.

Good photos, Rcubed. Something that I have noticed in North American photos of Imprezas is the quite large number of cars with roof bars, usually with nothing on them; what`s that about ? All that whistling and aero disruption would drive me nuts.

I got a full set of hubcentric from squirrelly performance in the US. very good quality. I have the STI BBS alloys which dont have deep pockets in back so i had to trim the oe studs though literally a few mm, can still remove spacers and run using oe studs safely - but that wont be happening anytime soon
Handling wise it feel a bit more stable and was given a good chucking around

Caliper stickers
Well while the car is in paint booth getting repaired I've been planning future mods and look for the car.
Got a finalised list but was wondering if anyone has changed the colour of the sti logos on callipers? If so how?
Cheers

I've been looking at this myself recently (I want a yellow Sti logo on my standard rear calipers to tie in with the yellow AP logo on the front) If it's just the logo you want changed and not full caliper change you can get vinyl overlays on eBay, or similar, and lacquer them on. I haven't tried it mind yet so not sure how long it would last.

What exactly do you mean by boot lid lights? The lights above the number plate or the rear lights on the back of the boot door? And do you mean the bulbs or the light unit itself?

Yeah , sorry. It's actually the tail lights i seen , not the bootlid ones. There is 2 hatches breaking on ebay , worth a shot. Heres one.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...oAAOSwT6pV6JK6
I would have thought the right side (drivers side) would be easy as most people swap out the right to a unit with a clear fog light. Assuming wrx and sti share the same lights I would sell you my standard right hand side for a good price if that helps as I can't see myself ever fitting it again. Or message Rob84 on here he can source them for you. I think they are around 60 quid a unit (at least the one with a clear fog is) standard might be different.
