Hi all,

Looking to change the standard exhaust on my JDM hatch as its far too civilized, can anybody advise how i go about replacing it?

Can i buy and fit a UK system for a 2.5 on it? (mine is 2.0) or do i need a special JDM one? because its a twinscroll etc.

Also is there a system anybody recommends? Looking for full system, decat.

Thanks

Not sure yet im leaving it with the builders, more than likely just going for MAHLE as i wont be pushing over 450bhp.

Pistons and bearings are a deffinate. ARP headstuds going in. and all new gaskets.

my car is totally standard, thoughts on other mods?

Im thinking, Decat, Map, intake filter, then on the smaller scale of things boost gauge, hose kit, new earths all round, short shift,

whats people thoughts on other smaller mods that i can bang on?

sounds good to me.someone will be along with more to add to that list.guess it depends what figures you want to achieve,if its the higher end you may need a fuel pump/injectors/fmic/bigger turbo etc.guess it also depends on your budget and how much you can afford to spend?i imagine the work you have listed will cost you ££££'s allready.

My 330S went at 29,000mile @ 18 months old, and got to say I was pleased to see the back of it after it took 3 months of agro with IM & Subaru UK to get it repaired with it going back to the dealer 3 times after the initial rebuild to find and sort an oil leak. then a new turbo @ 30 months old that they tried to get out of paying for on warranty

Hi guys,

Need some desperate help here. Warranty company are saying 11.7 hours for an engine rebuild. Surely this can't be right?? For labour they're k my willing to pay out £550!!!

Can anyone give any advice??? They're saying I need an "op code" to prove it takes longer. and that going off the standards they use that this job is 11.7 hours long. I'm really stuck here and feel like I've hit a brick wall and don't know what to do.

The warranty company are also saying the "parts side" of my claim is dealt with from the dealership I bought the car from. How much money wise should I be chasing for?

who is the warranty with?i bought an extended warranty through the garage i got my car from and when i actually looked into it properly(not that i have needed it)its pretty crap.think im allowed a maximum of £1000.after googling them aswell they have nothing but bad reviews, peeple struggling to get anything out of them and allways passing the buck to try and get out of paying.

My extended warranty is with Subaru... cost £60.80 a month for ten months. Covers everything.

Doesn't seem many hours but main dealer put down 12 hours on my short motor rebuild.
