Nice motor, In a word no its not the same as a classic, the reg on a hatch is on the nsf strut tower in a kinda semi parallel setup works very well

LoL not that I know of. LoL

My only question is. I don't think its a 330s cus they didn't come in blue to my knowledge.
With your having the bbs alloys you could be a Euro import and someone has put a 330s badge on it.

Not a problem. Great car. As long as you've not paid for a 330s in its price.

Check where it was first purchased.

Someone else might be able to give some more info too.

It was sold to me as a 330's, It is discribed as a 330's on the v5, the original bill of sale & PDI paper work from SGT in Bershire, where it was originally regerstered, & along with the other 330's upgrades, sat nav ,seats ect, i have no reason to think it not.Either way though i didn't pay 330's money for it though.

Would be interested to know as you don't get many blue STi type UK anyway. Just funny why would put the bbs alloys on.

I do like the blue hatch. I never saw one for sale when I was looking for my white one :-D

Brochure does indeed have WR blue, along with Pure White, Dark Grey, Obsidian Black, Spark Silver, San Remo Red and MIdnight Blue.
Nothing in the brochure about the BBS alloys, just the 18" 5 spoke alloys

The alloys are embossed with STI, so don't think there aftermarket.
Stamped on the bottom of the wheel

They are Subaru alloys but generally found as standard on Euro imports as are a very expensive and nice wheel.

I missed the comfort of driving on 17s so have downgraded:

before:

After: - bought a set of standard wheels and had them powdercoated matte black.

I'm selling the 330s wheels in the for sale section for anyone thats interested.

Hehe I just bought the exact same wheels off eBay and am planning to get them powder coated matt back too I'm keeping my 18s though (also the same as yours) - going to run my 17s with winter tyres. How much did you pay for the powder coating - I've been quoted £200-£250 from a few places.

That seems quite steep for 17 inch rims IMO. I got mine done for....£17 per rim (+vat).

They don't fix any kerb damage for that price, just dip them in acid, blast them then coat them a flat colour through a powder coating process (inc baking etc).

I didn't opt for any clear coat as apparently it's not required to protect powdercoat.

Really happy with the result, the finish isn't quite 100% perfect but its still a very good job for the money.

I got them done from a place 10 minutes drive from Leeds Bradford airport.

The most expensive finish they do is a metallic looking anthracite with clear coat which works out at around £40 a rim.

I really like the look, almost stealthy . I've got a gold set with winter tyres on waiting for the white stuff.
