just picked these JDM mirrors up...



still un decided as to fit them or not.

what do you lot think?

 

Are they much smaller? I've never seen the two types together?

 

I like having the big mirrors if I'm honest as they let you see so much more

 

Yeah quite a bit. Less of the bus wing mirror look lol

Not 100 % sure on fitting them yet.

 

Be nice to see the difrences side by side if you get a chance to take a pic like that

 

I'll do it later once kids are in bed.
I want to give them a good detail first. There's a couple of stone chips I want to touch up and polish. General wax up too.

Will look good.

Been told they're like hens teeth to get hold of.

get some mudflaps performance creations do them about 70quid

 

started to clean them up tonight, also touched up a couple of stone chips.



this is me offering it up and the same level as the ones on the car.


quite a bit smaller and more rounded design.

 

You will also find that they don't have heated mirrors so to retain you will need to change the glass (available from SUK) and add a couple of wires.

MY JDM mirrors look so much better than my dads Type UK mirrors

 

If your car hasn't got heated mirrors it won't matter anyway then.

as my sat nav unit wont play discs and the warranty lot are paying for a new one, That,s a first for me,

they've been on ImParts a few times and keep coming down, the base would be a better buy as the side bolsters start to go over time don't they

 

I like my big mirrors - they give me a good view of whats behind me - usually a slower JDM Hatch !

 

UK mirrors are heated I think though.

Think ill stick with my UK ones as I like the extra rear view and the jdm ones remind me of shreks ears lol

Yep found that thanks, a guy is after my MY11 STI and the Recaros are too snug so is thinking about dropping these in as they are a direct fit. If he decides to have my car I'll get your number if that is ok so he can sort out with you direct.
