I think it would look smart if the original number plate mount was smoothed, but just applying a blanking plate i don't think it will look right.

Did you cure the rubbing in the end?

 

Not me that had any rubbing, these fit fine on the 08on, even or ProR springs.

ProR (blue) springs don't fit unless you have MY11 (SpecC suspension).

I tried to get some and dealer was told by IM/Subaru they don't fit. Hence I had to have the Subaru Prodrive Eibachs instead.

 

I think Abx was making the point that there was no problem of rubbing even with it lowered............................

Well back bumper been off so time for front

 

The Hatches existing 15A fuse, relay and twin horn feeds is good enough to just replace the horns with an extension from the RH horn location to the centre of the rad position. (No need for additional relay and wiring)

Hella Supertones rated at 4.7/5.5 Amps each ( 66watt, depending upon voltage).



Did you notice in the instructions it states that removing the original mounting brackets "can" disturb the tone setting.....

From looking at their fitting instructions SubiMods didn't find the second horn

the second horn is on the drivers side?

Once the bumper if off, should see it to disconnect it.

 

 

I really didn't fancy removing the bumper and was quite easily able to fit mine without removing it. And able to locate the driver side horn through the bumper side vent.

Hi mate, got your pm. I'm off work for 10 days now but I'll send the info across to our parts guy so he can process and order for you mate.

I'm in the process of doing this at the moment. I ordered morimoto Xbaled halos from Lightwerkz in America and sourced a proper DRL controller like Audi use. I'll post up some pictures when I'm doing and done.

I'm not keen on adhesive to secure them with my suspension being so stiff so I'm going to do what most in America do and tie wire them in with very very thin piano wire so it can hardly be seen

The car is currently sat with all the wiring in place from the fusebox with a custom made loom I made from the controller and the whole front end is off the car pending the lamps going in the oven tomorrow.

I ordered the 100mm Morimoto xbaled ones

The genuine Subaru item isn't meant to fit the hatch but I say different as I fitted one to my car from a jdm spec c widetrack. think there about £400 plus 3-5 hours fitting

 

Im not sure i would have the bottle to cut a hole in the roof id have to pay someone else to do it
