Car already had the 2.0 engine fitted. Parallel fuel rails, fpr, AVCS and TGV delete, Exedy pink clutch (rock hard!) when i bought it.
Yep missing the cruise control features and the hill start, alarm seems fine as far as i can tell

Ah right I got you now ,, Matt-c has a syvecs in his but think his is a 2.5 aswell ,, to be honest I love the 2:5 and wouldn't swap it for a 2.0 even if it was a easy swap as I love the torque it gives,, don't use the hill start assit much but the cruise control is a must really and the reason I chose to stay with racerom rarther than going aftermarket and I don't regret it so far

I'm still running a standard clutch (nice and soft) @ 531/515 , think people under rate the standard clutch but I don't do any launches or anything but it's been in there at least a couple of years now lol

Ran my standard hawk Sti clutch to 380 aswell without any problems ,, even put a cheap reconditioned standard plate in when it did go as I was skint at the time and can get them redone for £30 and that lasted just fine aswell , my mate also put one in his 400+ Bugeye without any problems yet and we both drive hard just don't launch to get started and have had no slipping at all yet

At £30 a time I'd rarther swap them out a bit more often than bother spending a fortune on a clutch I don't like the feel of and iv had most of them including the multi plated ones that sound awful lol , might be a bit more next time as I'll get the fly skimmed at the same time

one after market clutch I fitted (it was either act or comp can't honestly remember what one now but it was one of the two ) was silly light and left no pedal feel at all , was so bad I removed it in strait after fitting and put the OE one back in , and I'm lazy so it must of been bad lol

Yes, Syvecs here on 2.3 torque will be down slightly from a 2.5 i guess.

Cruise is possible with a newer version syvecs ECU, but I'm out of inputs and can't be bothered to swap over at the moment

Meant to add Competition Clutch Stage 2 is working very well for me so far, don't need hill assist as the clutch is nice and variable.

Probably the same look that you had when you realised she'd thrown out your fuel pump

You may tell her to put that turbo somewhere safe

Looks a nice well sorted car , went to look at a few white ones when I was buying ,found one with different front arms so just make sure it's not that one lol , don't think it is but always worth saying just in case , not sure if it had hit a curb of something and not been repaired with the correct arm but it defo had two different front ones

This car calls into my lads school, not ever managed to chat to the owner but it looks very nice in the flesh (as you can see from the pics). It's not as loud as mine, I think it's still got the Prodrive BB where I run full H&S. Good figures, I wonder who mapped it?

Default Dba brakes

Was speaking with a mate who is out travelling in oz just now. He was saying everyone down there he has spoke to seems to be running the dba t2 discs on their subarus.

Anyone tried them over here? Just before I get him to bring a set home later this month. Or I'll be ordering from Godspeed this weekend

Cheers
Phil
