This is the only one I'm aware of at present, but I can't tell you much about Gary Nutall of Sandbach.

Half the money you'd find a Cosworth for, that.

You're going to be better off buying a standard one and having it forged to your own spec, seems achievable with your budget...unless you're looking for significantly more power.

I can get front and back bumpers but not arches, has anyone tried doing this or is it not possible. I know i should of just bought an sti but to much for my budget at the mo. Would not bother, just run the WRX while saving up for the better car.

By the way, the STi doesn't come with red overlays it's just that a few of us have added them on.

I'd like to see if it could be done not only for us wrx owners but the diesel wrx owners may want to aid with the looks you never know. I prefer the red over lay it looks much better

The front end conversion would be pretty straight forward to fit but bloody expensive and not worth the money, you would need front bumper front grill, and i believe the wings are in three parts, main upper section, then a smaller piece down near the sill, and also the sti inserts. The rear quarters i haven't seen anybody selling a fiberglass kit for the WRX so i would imagine you would have to use genuine rear quarter panels, including (back doors) cant imagine them being cheap then the cost to fit and paint them would be horrendous, then you would need the side skirts and rear bumper and rear spoiler, and probably wheel spacers.

I have probably missed something but you get the picture, you could easily sell your WRX and buy an STI for cheaper than the conversion!

If you want a wider look on WRX, HT Autos are making some fender flares at the minute for the newer model STI but they may fit the WRX with a little bit of modification.

Also before you start splashing loads of money on it make sure you have a nest egg for an engine rebuild, weather you keep the WRX or buy the STI!

Goodluck with what you decide,

Carl...

Thanks Carl that's a big help iv sourced a front bumper grill and Sti back doors and boot all for £300 but like you say the wings are the problem. I have spoken to ht autos and I think this will be a better option but not sure if they'll fit. In an ideal world I'd of bought an Sti but only paid 7k for a mint 30k miles with full service and I'm getting ready for the engine to go but it is booked for re map to get shot of the oe map. Thanks for the advice guys

I did see a set of widebody rear quarters on an American's STI in a UK magazine, but to be honest i didn't like it, it looked like a part of the millenium falcon had been riveted to the rear quarter!

It's more when you go over a speed ramp it's on each spring sounds like it's rubber grinding against the spring could be the springs

Default New parts

Guys, we are currently making some rear drop links, lateral arms and cooling (slam) panels for the 08-10 cars

Let me know if any one is interested, I can setup a group buy if we have enough people wanting them

cheers chris

Then simply bolted up the new system using new gaskets of course.

I picked up the cat back system second hand for 380 pound delivered, and then spent around 50 pound on gaskets and a tube of autosol!

The car is not mapped yet as its having forged pistons fitted next week, then it will be run in and a decat down pipe fitted, then the remap!
