Chris from Jap Performance hates the Prodrive spings becuase the loss in ride quality was not worth the small improvement in handling in his opinion, but remember he is running on 19" wheels with very low 35 profile tyres. He is going to do a track day on them to see if they are better on the track than the std springs...
I had the Tein lowering springs on mine (with 18" wheels) and they were ok for daily driving. Chris drove my car with them on for the article in the mag and also thought they were fine!
I have recently gone over to a set AST coilovers and have a the Tein lowering springs in the garage if you want them mate...
Thats a good point about the wheel size, how much do you want for the Tein springs mate ?
Really suprised to hear negatives on the Prodrive springs
I would certainly not describe the ride as uncomfortable and they definitely firm things up around the twisties.
More than happy with mine
Ive looked back over the threads, and quite a few people have them fitted, cant see many negative comments. Maybe the wheel size is making the difference, What size are you running yours on mate ?
John
While we are having a quick market - if you are upgrading the brakes on a WRX or SGT, I have for sale, rear 08Sti Hatch 315mm "Brembo" calipers, pads, discs and pipes as removed from car. As new condition. Done max 2k "running in" miles.
(Fronts Sold.)
Rears will fit 2008 WRX/SGT Scoob if you modify back plates or replace backplates with STi ones.
There are some really nice cars in this thread. I'm growing to like the 'new' scoob day by day - can look pretty evil with some simple mods. However, I live in central London, and since its release, I've still only seen 3 in the flesh! Where are you all hiding, or don't I get out enough?!

Took the car out of the garage this morning and noticed for the first time that the electric window lock switch was not illuminated like all the other door switch gear, can someone please confiem if it should glow red like the others.
If it should does anyone know if its a bulb that can be replaced or an inline soldered LED that would not be so easy to fix?
Thanks
Arron
Had a look at mine when i came home just before and yes they are all illuminated on the drivers door, most likely an led as a bulb wouldnt be very durable in there.

Cheers Rob, will get onto dealer and see if I can get it sorted, hopefully will replace the whole silver unit as its quite scratched.

Hmmm, interesting. The window lock button is the only button on mine that doesn't illuminate either - sure I read somewhere that that was normal so I've never thought any more about it. Some more input from other owners would be useful here I think.
And apparently the "silver unit" is not available as a seperate part, it comes as part of a complete door card kit - at least that's what the dealer I bought the car from told me.
