320r Owners, have you noticed the small print on the Subaru Offer page -

WRX STI 320R is a standard WRX STI with a free 320R upgrade pack fitted post-registration. It is the customer's responsibility to inform their insurer if they opt to have the 320R pack fitted

So won't be a 'standard' insurance type like RB320 or 330s but a 'modded' car. Anyone had any issues with 'normal' insurers Aviva, Direct Line etc?

Rob...

Woah ! Great price for the insurance. My renewal in 3 weeks has been quoted at just under a grand. Can I ask who you're insured with ? Or PM.

Cheers.

Be interesting to know if people are declaring the 'extras' on a 320 or just insuring as an Sti which they are. The 330s was a complete upgrade to the sti but the 320 is just a Sat Nav and +20.

I forgot to mention it is now a WRX Sti and not an impreza and most insurers I spoke to for quotes couldn't find it so put it down as an Impreza Sti

Had alloys replaced today under warranty as the laquer had started peeling, replaced with a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3.

No pics yet as sent the missus this morning to wait, she is not too happy at having to wait 3hrs tho'!!

Will be putting the brand new replacement 330s alloys up for sale later once home from work.

Well my quote came out at £380 for a brand new Sti and slightly cheaper for a 330s with Aviva but they never enquired about a tracker. Does that mean they don't need it or their notes say it has one and they just assume you have paid the subscriptions? Should have asked maybe I'll call them back. Do people still bother with their trackers depends where you live I guess, the only thing that gets stolen around here is domestic oil.

Yeah, been looking at new wheels for a while, but wasn't sure what to go for, the timing was right when the alloys needed to be replaced under warranty.

Was that you coming up from Sainsbury's roundabout last night?

The 2012 Impreza is a stinker! But as has been discussed before, that monstrosity is why they dropped the Impreza name from the MY10/11 in favour of simply WRX STi - Subaru wanted to distance the Impreza name from its performance models.

I believe there's a new 1600cc turbo car coming soon-ish. Smaller, lighter, 2 door and 1600cc turbo to comply with current WRC regs for homologation.

1hr?, per wheel!?
1hr?, on exhaust!?

How can you possibly spend that long on cleaning them?

SOLD
Hi Guys

Fancy a change so decided to swap my splitter for something different.

Its an exact replica of the STI splitter and I imported it from the US, made of Urethane (sp) so no need to paint and matches the black plastic on the front really well, good fit and no drilling required.

Not worth posting as due to the size its impractical, so collection only from Greenhithe Kent.

Looking for £85

All you new guys with saloons........When I bought my last Hatch everyone on here recommended fitting a set of Rally Armour flaps because of the problems they had had in America in front of the rear wheel arches - wider track etc. Subaru then increased the size of the protecction film in that area in the UK but still everyone bought and fitted the flaps. I noticed you guys haven't bothered so how have you noticed any damage?

I never had flaps on my 58 Sti hatch, nor do I have them on my 320r. Never had any problem with either cars.
