08/09 Hatches, Stand up and show yourselves!!!
Spent the day yesterday at Brands Hatch, Pro-R were there and wanted to be on our stand, they had a few of the new saloons and I chatted with all the guys there plus Darren who is heading it up.
I cant say too much just now but its all going to change within IM very soon and it looks like things will all be on the up and a new direction towards what we as the customer actually want - people stuck in the past are all going

they are talking with dealers to sign up, they only want to use specific ones to fit stuff but all to sell the parts.
they have been doing lots of testing since last year on stuff and Mike Wood signs it all off to go ahead so you can imagine nothing passes without it being the best.
they are trying to get a full range sorted from classic to current
they were even talking of doing bespoke stuff for ltd editions cars like the RB5 & RB320's, even down to the individual build numbers
Aaron : only a few was too busy chatting to Pro-R, friends, had a couple of mates in time attack so was in pits. day went like a blink of an eye!!!

they had a Pro-R / Alcon front brake kit on one of the demo saloons, looked nice
they are doing grilles from the front and rear of the saloon and a nice one for the scoop in black or chrome, i spotted zunsport badging on one of them. they are doing a panel air filter which is made by pipercross

They are Subaru ones "Splash Guard set-STi SEAAFG2000. Fitted in summer 2009 at about 7k miles. Now done approx 30Kmiles.

These rims have only been on for a month or so - previous ones were 15mm set further inside the arch - still didn't prevent chips.
Will have front end/rear door areas resprayed next spring
Looks like a regular every 3 year job with this paint.
OR don't drive it in the winter, on rainy days, on gravelly roads etc etc ........
I don't think so !

The grilles are made by zunsport exclusively for Subaru UK ( The zunsport badge is only on the original prototype lower front grille)
Has anyone wrapped their door switchgear, if so are they easy to strip down and can you really wrap it well or would it be better to get them sprayed, the scratches are starting to bug me!!
It's unfortunate that most of what Pro-R hopes to be is only word of mouth at the moment. Lets hope the website will be up and running soon
Having visited IM recently (for the "320" upgrade map) I've seen a number of the product proposals and heard Darren's aspirations for the future.
Still fetching 18k on the showrooms up north
What sort of markup does that dealer work on
Doesn't surprise me - I got offered £19K for my 330s a year ago from a Ford dealer. Got nearly £27k from Slip End a couple of weeks later.
