IIRC mine was a mixture of both, BasonR lip from US.

In my experience the self tapping screws are a ****e method of holding the splitter on, I sourced a box of 5mm stainless steel nuts bolts and washers and fixed mine on that way.

Finally got round to fitting my ZunSport grilles today with assistance from arronb. Looks much better now, glad Arron was available as knowing which bumper fixing points need to be removed is 3/4 of the job!

Cheers again Arron

My HT Auto splitter is held on by a mixture of bolts and self tapping screws.

But I agree with Rob, if you can get under it to drill and fix ny-lock bolts then that's the best option.

I've just got a trade in value for my STI against a Range Rover... and the best (so far) they can offer is £8k

Parkers have it at £16k??

What is the car industry up to ffs.... 100% mark up? WTF???

The dealer's will try and get away with whatever they can, I used glass.co.uk to get my valuation as this is what the trade use. I printed off the valuation and took that with me as a stick to beat them with.

At the end of the day you are the customer and they still need to meet targets, either way if you are not happy walk away and approach another dealer!

what's worrying is the LR dealer has a sister garage that is Subaru franchised..and that's STILL the best he can get.

Looks like I'm going to have to sell it privately just to get somewhere near what it's worth..

Cheers Gbnut..I told him parkers figure... he was apologetic and has gone away... but he's not going to close that margin is he...

Cheers everyone

I've posted it up in the for sale section

https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...-for-sale.html

Ted, I'll wait to see how much interest a private ad generates before taking the nav unit out...but I'll keep you in mind

No I'd not accept 8k any day of the week..that's just insulting and the dealer should be ashamed of such daylight robbery... Parkers have them at between £15.5k part ex and £16.5 good cond...there is no way it's worth as little as £8k LOL

Why don't you go for a kenwood setup?

Nice car, good spec, if you did split i'd be interested in the gauges/pod thingy, recaros (swap for my std seats) & sat nav too (bidding war with littleted ;-)), tho i've been looking at the plethora of kenwood dnx's available.

Fitting the OEM nav unit is not a straight swap, the loom is different (different connectors and additionally wiring). This is one of the main reasons i went for an aftermarket Kenwood screen, plus the fact they are generally better anyway

Tony.
