FKS 85 from the hatch forum at the wheel though or I'd have given you a lights flash. We were on a suspension noise test exercise as a comparison against his 330s which has just had new front struts etc under warranty - at only 8K miles!

Yes mate that was me, was on the way back from shopping at ocean terminal. I would have flashed my lights myself but was facing the wrong way. Hatch is sexy in the white I must add.

8k new struts, thats not very good.

Are there a few hatches round Edinburgh, seen maybe 3 max.

You're right mate, the hatch STi seems to be a bit of a rare breed around these parts. Apart from me, you, and FKS 85's white 330S, I've only seen a silver 330S and a dark grey STi.

Nice car BTW, liking the gold on blue combo and it looks even better in the flesh than in the photos you posted.

I think he's just been unlucky with the strut failure so early on although it's not unheard of. Mine's in the dealers next week for a full suspension check (there's something not right somewhere) but I've got 24K on the clock - still not good though!

Cheers, Neil

That's his old style pod Mick (The one I've just ordered for myself), if I knew you were interested we could have saved a bit on shipping

The new pod is a triple which sits on the dash (not that I've seen a pic of it or anything...)... top secret, but due to go public in a month.

Normally you would have had your arm ripped of Arron, but when Mark was told his warranty was void because he had a 3rd party exhaust system on it people are staying OEM for safety...

He said he was shipping one over but i wasn't sure who it was going to

The three clock pod "Sits in front of the clock on top of the dash in that area. Flows with the dash very well. It will hold 3 52mm gauges or 3 60mm gauges. When completed"

This sounds like the one for me

Front fog covers are a few months away

Yep that'll be mine then ..hopefully it'll come soon... got all the other bits ready.

The triple pod does "flow" with the dash very well.... I'm sure he'll sell loads...he's already got 5 blind orders.

Not sure about the clock Arron, maybe the screen gets moved to the front?

Moved to the front, now that could work.

If it looks OE I may have to invest in one as running out of things to buy and the Missus will get suspicious, she is still not budging on the Advan RS's LOL!

Well, they are indeed 'Cossie' wheels but since I ordered them months ago I'll just thank Subaru for following my lead

They're Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3's - 18 x 8.5 et 38 in anthracite.

Well my car went bang with PPP kit on and I had this on and it was fine
I made sure I got the same bore so that it didnt affect the back pressure and didnt need mapping.
It sounds 10 times better crackles and pops and a much deeper sound than the PPP one.
Car sounded ****e when I put the standard one back on to sell it!!
And to be honest if it went bang I would have taken it off anyway??
I`m sure someone will appreciate the saving
Cheers guys

Isn't that a bit expensive - and it says it's a non VAT qualifying car!!

Maybe the 3 should have been a 2 or even a 1 ??

perhaps a CS400 on the cheap?

Looks like a Litchfield Type 20 badge on the back... but it's advertised as a UK 2.5?

Full roll cage but standard exhaust... and what the CR465 stands for I'm not sure

Does anyone knows what the Maxpower a standard 5speed manual transmission can handle from a 2008 WRX? 275bhp?

Is the 6MT from the STi, straight fit?

We ran a newage WRX gearbox in Mrs D's RB5 when it was circa 400/440 without issue so would easily cope with 275bhp (dependent on how well you can change gear etc etc).
