Good question, not used since last year. I think options of 5300/5600/5900/6200, boost ranges between just under 1 bar to 1.5 ish across rev options.

Wow 727bhp. Glad to see that it is a drag car only. I remember mine with only 440bhp atw on pump fuel with a GT35 and when that power hit on a hillclimb it was immense and laughably uncontrollable. Moved on to the saner world of a GT3071.

New gauges in today as I wanted an in car fuel pressure gauge and 3 bar boost gauge, awaiting an adapter from Alyn at AS Performance to connect fuel pressure but others all done. These lived in Sleeper Sy's car previously.

Don't start me on "Fuel Pressure" stuff!! Twas a nightmare looking for the right fit! Luckily Alyn @ ASP came to the rescue with it and we now have a FP sensor linked to the Syvces! Happy days!

Quick look at google for methanol suppliers .... and found this.

Is it the right stuff, and seems a good price! £82 for 205 litres drum.

I found quite a few places doing bulk methanol, for making biofuel / biodiesel!!!

A lot around £80 up to £150+ for 205l.

It's virgin grade new meths, I mailed the company!

They also sell a RACE version at £50 for 25l, supposed to be 99.95% pure - the stuff above is 99.9% pure.
See DT-Racing
http://www.dt-racing.co.uk/

Ohh yeah, they are in Deeside, north wales / near Chester/Runcorn !!

£ 82.00 for 205 Ltrs !!!

I have done huge research on Meths and ran on 20% for 20,000 miles & at it suggests that Trinity Research were the ONLY place that knew what they were talking about, and one of the only suppliers that actually DO sell virgin Meths.

Others tell you they sell virgin and have proved to be wrong because they were unaware of it.

The £82 for 205 L is plus VAT it seems, and to me is £20 delivery a drum.

I visited the premises for a couple of 25l's ( for the second map and my old car ) and stated again it was new virgin, not recovered.

I'll see if I can get some analysed at work!

Have a look or chat to the guys, and let me know if its a problem before I use it!!!

Whats a usual amount to use - 10% - 20% ??

I assume the bracket at the top of the 'glass' is to stop it flapping at speed?
Can the door still open?
