This morning I set about trying to find a boost leak as that seemed the most obvious reason for my lack of boost -

Pumping air in to the system revealed a leak in this coupling

So we are back to full boost
Also moved my power steering resevoir to be able to put the filter in a better place

Plans seem to be coming together for popping the engine back in the Drag car next Monday. Tim nearly has it all built up but the head gaskets I had supplied were 0.78 and not thick enough. So a quick call to Mark @ Lateral yesterday and a set of 1.1's are already on there way to Tim. Top man Mark, thanks.
Frayz has had my baffled sump made and that is also en route to Tim today so big thanks to Frayz for sorting that for me also.
John Stevenson is sending my new lightweight exhaust this week also.
And finally Alyn od AS Performance has completed the kit for my new brake set up and they are also on the way as I write this update. Alyn has also sorted me a bottle of running in oil also which I had forgotten about until Yesterday !
So seems like all is coming together, with any luck all will be sorted on Monday ready for running in the refreshed lump.

Here is the new brake set up, Alyn (AS Performance) has done a great job on this new set up for me. All arrived today and have even test fitted on one side, all fits perfectly.
If anyone else is interested in the same set up then give Alyn a bell as he will sort you out a complete kit.

And then the weigh in and test fitting
Standard 4 pot @ 5kg

Wilwood inc. Pads and Brackets @ under 2kg

Standard disc @ 7 kg

Standard size disc with alloy bell @ 6 kg

And test fitting

Been busy finishing off a few things this weekend before the engine comes back tomorrow. When we pulled engine one of the front driveshafts was loose. So found the reason why, the retaining ring clip thing had worked it's way further back than it should be. So took it off and squeezed it in the vice before popping it back on in the correct position and putting shaft back in.

Then finished fitting brakes to the nearside and got them all bled.

Little weigh in of rotated kits, the RCM one is very slightly less than the H&S one

Compared ID's of uppipes, RCM one is much bigger

Wrapped RCM uppipe

And the new 'Stevenson' lightweight drag exhaust
