Thats a nice tray for your battery, where abouts did you get it, my battery is being held in place by a couple of ties wraps, I'm looking for something a bit more solid now TBH.

Clive I've sent a email to the bloke on Ebay who sells these but so far he has not replied to it, Although the sizes look similar I'm wondering if a Odyssey PC680 would actually fit into the battery tray, do you have any measurements(sp?) for this tray?

Length - approx. 181m
Width - approx. 77mm

Weight - approx. 5.3Kg
Mine
Length - approx. 184.7
Width - approx. 79
Height - approx. 169.4
Weight - approx. 7KG
How tight of a fit is yours exactly? mine seems to be a few MM bigger in a few of it's dimensions

Yours will fit perfectly then as I have had to 'pad' mine very slightly

Been doing a few jobs on the cars today, sorted out a few final jobs on the green wagon I now have to sell and removed my rotated set up from the drag car. I am replacing this with a RCM set up for the coming season. Looks like I already have a buyer for this, exhaust system is going with it with two back boxes (loud and quiet). Also weighed the system as I have got another one from John Stevenson to go with the RCM kit they weighs just 11.8kg, my old one was 15kg. A HKS one I am selling weighs over 18kg so just goes to show the differences

I had a Hayward & Scott one which is going. The RCM one has a larger bore up pipe which will help with my power goal. Also allows changing the exhaust system for a lighter item

Paul and I had a long day on the type R today, plan was to pop the oil cooler on that I had on the drag car previously and change the front mount to a flipped one I picked up.
Whilst Paul set about getting the bumper off I swapped the exhaust housing on the 35R for the 1.06 item. Few pics of the difference here compared to the 0.82

Then some pics of what we did with the type R, also added a water temp sender ready for a gauge at a later date.
Old Cooler

Paul in action

Oil cooler on

Cutting for new front mount pipes

New intercooler going on

So all was well until the test drive, no leaks etc but for some reason car is only boosting to actuator pressure circa 1.1 bar. Checked wiring to boost solenoid and all is well so no idea what I have done

Great work Clive, make sure you use my old housing properly

On the cooler front, just add some ducting (flat sheet on all 4 sides) between the IC and OC, it will work so much better.
