Thanks Shaun, could have gone further but stopped @ 646, that was in fact the only run at 2.2 bar. Did not want to push too far with TOTB and Shootout coming up.

Very sensible! The more the car makes, the more I tended to **** my pants watching it on the dyno!

TBH i would be interested to see how Si would get on on the 1/4mile

Little update from Shakey today. Wanted to test the car pre TOTB after Paul mapped on race fuel and had optimised the LC settings. Only did 2 runs as that's all I needed to check all was well. Run 1 with 5k LC @ 1bar and run 2 with 5300 rpm LC @ 1.2 bar.

Results here

Sorry videos are not good, I forgot the video Camera so just mobile efforts

Type R also did well today with little Paul behind the wheel

10.2 & 10.4 are awesome times mate - well done! Noticed (if I'm reading it correctly!) that on the second run your reaction time was a lot quicker. Your 60ft time was fractionally better too. Think she is ready to do battle at totb!

Wasn't trying to get reaction times tbh as was just testing and making sure launch was right. Still, found out after I won a trophy for the quickest sub 11 second car

Picked up a cheap set of 17's last night as I needed a set for my Yoko A048's for handling at TOTB. Just trial fitted to make sure they clear the calipers okay.

Thanks mate, all I have apart from P-Zero Corsas which I have found way too hard. Maybe out with the tyre softener then. I doubt my car these days is going to be that competitive on the TOTB handling course as it's now a drag/top speed car.

Have done 138 on old gear box at lower power, thing is now I have the long forth I can leave it there to get over the line. Will try a change to 5th at say 7k at TOTB to see which way is faster. Take it you will be there this year ?

Clive
Yes mate only watching this yr
Been competing in the last 2
My mate in his evo at pod is in 2nd place just behind you
Found out on the data logger he was loosing out about 30 before the line due to hitting the limiter in 4th
So like you he has opted for a longer 4th gear to do over 140mph in it now
