Project P1 600bhp +
They will be NGK R7435-8 or R-7119-8 at a guess, the later being a platinum version which has been replaced by the former, which is Iridium.
What fuel are you running on?
What ignition system?
RCM will have some options for upgrading the ignition which might help, and there are things that can be done with the MoTeC install (might already be in place) that will help keep theplugs clean.
Matt & Ollie are your first port of call.

Could be two soon.....or may be even three......
SY - what the heck is a "O" ring set up and doing the head gaskets?? Keep the 22nd Feb free...we got to go and see a man about somethin......and I get first go when the "GL" is ready......get the bloody mapper to get a move on!
What option do I have if I want to retain my Gold Brembo Calipers on mine rather than say buy the 355s APs?

and Four of theses
Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail
Used on WRC cars to prevent head gasket failure - as far as I know only avaliable on 2.0 ltr hence why gobstopper is only 2.0 ltr as you need waterway gaskets Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail (I have heard a wisper that its now avaliable for 2.35s and 2.5s from a certain tuner - but yet to see it)
Gobstopper hasnt had Head Gasket problems (according to Matt, so it must work)

The only system I know thats readily avaliable is for the 2 litre from RCM which uses WRC parts(I would if had it on my 2.35 but it wasnt avaliable)-
Pavlo explained to me that the problem is the cylinder gases sometimes get passed the O rings, which then may get into the Cooling system - and presurise it and split it- this does not happen with the 2 litre version, as there is an escape route for theses gases - look at the bottom area in this pic
Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail
The water passages have their own Polyester Gasket but also around the cylider area they are surrounded by a polyester ring with a vent at the bottom of the pic.
I understand that bigger cc engines simply dont have the space between the O ring and water passages for the sencondary polyester ring as the cylinders are larger diameter.
Ive heard they may be a solution around for engines <2 litrre - but dont know the detail of how it works.
Allegedly

Clive is the Meet cancelled now?
(Soz about cancelling myself - cars not here)
I think we should give our gang a name and make a regular venue and time.
How about " The East London and Canary Wharf and Blackheath and Norbury and Graves End and Essex and Kent and Surrey Subaru Impreza owners and aprecation society" Or ELCWBNGEEKSSIOAS for short?

just picturing a sun visor across the top of the windscreen with your idea written on it. (size 10 font)
MEET.
Regarding the meet this Sunday guys, who's left
Baly,Sy,Jag, can not attend and I believe Fat Boy has an unexpected family weekend.
Regarding the guys that are left, I will attend (in the wife's car) if you still want to meet up, or we can leave it until the next one whereby everyone has a free weekend?
I don't mind guys, up to you.
CHIEF
Good idea. Having a "Chief" is easier than the confusion caused by everyone suggesting. I know just the man.
GRANBY (mate)
you busy my friend?? we need to speak
(trust me guys, he is the man, wouldn't you agree Eureka?)
RICH
I spent a couple of hours with Olly today and he showed me your car. Nice machine matey.
Your gonna have a grin from lobe to lobe when you see it!!
I will never forget the feeling when I first saw my engine.!
Let me know if anyone is going tomorrow guys.
