Project P1 600bhp +
P1 nearly ready. Spoke with Olly today and Launch Control is up & running, it's been mapped for 20% Meths and the Air Con is gone.
There is a bit of an issue with the front brakes and that's being sorted.
Just fitting RCM's new up rated Oil cooler. Being the first fitted it will need some attention & hoping to collect next weekend.

Daz:
Do you know what, I woke up in the night thinking I had mentioned Intercooler opposed to Oil Cooler, then I went back to sleep
I guess many readers assumed brain malfunction and knew I meant O Cooler.
Clive: Yes mate I will get it on the rollers. Many want to see some figures so I will do it.
Rich: Pictures of the Oil Cooler ?? Hows your car now Rich ??

MadHammer: yes, I will be up the Pod at some point. Got a big point to prove
As before it's not a drag machine but I will def' give it a go. What do you reackon as a realistic TS and ET?
Running on 20% Meths & L.Control
If I get a mid to low eleven I will be pleased.
The place for mine is on a track. That's where the fun starts as I am sure Daz Davies will agree

Clive
Hi Yeah just how they have tackled the situation as you see all types of different configurations
My cars hasn't moved a whole lot this year but I made the mistake of thinking it could do with a little more power
will wait till next year
I haven't been near any roller but as soon as RCM get set up I will take it down

No probs.
lol......... bad idea modding huh
trouble is that there is so much on offer it would prove daft to leave it on the shelf. When you have big power, and you can have a load more, what are you going to do
I keep being hounded by roughly 4.3 million guys who are telling me to get on the rollers, or want to know the Bhp
but like you I would rather wait for RCM.s one. They have built the complete car and I would feel 10x safer RCM and Dave Rowe.
Nice one Chef. Thanks mate, I have contacted him.
Hi Daz. Was going to ring you yesterday, then thought na.
Was real good mate thanks. Left my camera in the boot of the P1 up RCM and nearly got killed by an American woman whilst on 1200cc Jet Ski (real close one) She was coming full bore at me from the side flat out and out of control. I was at a standstill and thought if I pull forward and she turns left she will take off my left leg so I waited until the last millisecond and gave it some. She missed the back of my Jetski by a mm !
You been busy with your super shines on any cars lately?

Goodbye Fellas
It's time for this thread to wrap up guys as I will not be having any further modifications once I have collected the P1 from RCM next week.
Although the thread title suggested 600+ I now realise the effort, commitment and technical skill involved just to reach 500 Bhp and if I had known that then I would have given the thread a different title.
I wish to thank Roger Clark Motorsport for all of there input and technical knowhow and for building me a truly magnificent machine. It really is an amazing bit of kit now and I will be keeping the car for good. I really can not think of anything that would prove better for an everyday car.
Thanks to you guys too.
I have made a load of good friends as a result of this thread and got to know and meet many more.
The only reason I started this thread was the fact that I could share the involvements and experience with any guys that would find it interesting, and to be totally honest I was only expecting a few replies and here we are 117 pages further and nearly 109,000 hits
Project 2 is still happening and it will be another thread.
All I can say at the moment is that it will be another Subaru.
It will not be road legal......... and
It will be very quick!
I am now going to chill out for a while and enjoy the P1.
Thanks guys
I'll be back

Yes Clive, thanks for the insight into your wonderful machine and all the nutty banter etc. - really brightens up the dull points in one's life.
May I be so bold as to ask where you got your bumper maw black mesh from, etc.?
