Hi gents. Back in England.

P1 is now "ripping" according to Dave Rowe who has just mapped it with RCM.

20% Meths allowed a further 5 degrees on the ignition.

Also Air Con has been removed, up rated Oil Cooler installed and Launch Control activated.

Will be collecting car over the next 2 days.

Thanks Gramps.

I will be looking into Meth supply tomorrow. Needless to say RCM will know a supplier.

G-Max Research of Surrey would be a more local choice. They can get anything from Ronson lighter fuel to CH3NO2 (Nitromethane).

I used to buy Toluene from them as an additive in a certain Group B race car that a friend of mine raced, (cant say too much as it was illegal & televised)

Granby: thanks for that mate, I will check it out.

Daz: Thanks.

Cold, your not kidding mate
I got off the plane looking like a Nomad from a Hawaiian Nudist Camp roaming the streets of Moscow

I will be phoning Olly early doors tomorrow and hopefully collecting the P1 the same day.
As mentioned in my text to you, Dave R (EPS / RCM) seemed pretty impressed with the power gain and the new Oil Cooler should prove good when we are next on track.

Really looking forward to collecting it.

Cheers dude, has been a good year to be honest. Car has been fantastic, engine has not missed a beat once, had a great time with Scoobysprint, my first TOTB and Scooby Shootout where the drag times finally tumbled. Thanks must go to Zen for all there efforts with the car !

Next year I have now decided to keep the same spec, although it's tempting to go for more power it would be a shame imo to pull the engine now and then slap another turbo on (without even mentioning the expence). There are some big builds in progress though so competition will very strong next year when it comes to those drag times.

I also have my other car to build over the winter, this will be a stripped track/fun car which I am sharing with a friend. If Scoobysprint goes ahead next year we will probably use this one. So fingers crossed the build goes well.

I echo Scooby Hoo?'s comments. You have done really well this year Clive on strip and around the cones.

Well done matey

And you are right about several big power builds. Another big power P1 is lurking the streets up North too, somewhere near Luton.

I reckon ol' Daz DaviEs car will be quick too when completed. (Your doing a good job there matey.)

My P2 is still going to happen. I will know a lot more after speaking with Olly when I collect the P1 sometime soon, and then I will be able to let you guys know what is happening.

Obviously this season has been wiped out so there is no point rushing for any reasons.
Will get the car back running by winter and doing the run in slowly then its off to Pennine for an inspection.

Will have a play next season tho

Hi Clive.
All is well and we're off to the boys for Thanksgiving so away for most of November. I'm getting more serious about a P1 and will check some out when I get back.
I will e-mail you when I return to arrange a meet up.
Regards to Heather.

P1 nearly ready. Spoke with Olly today and Launch Control is up & running, it's been mapped for 20% Meths and the Air Con is gone.

There is a bit of an issue with the front brakes and that's being sorted.

Just fitting RCM's new up rated Intercooler. Being the first fitted it will need some attention & hoping to collect next weekend.
