Chris, this was my point. Fair enough to BIJ for saying cars are usually designed for front or rear, not side impact - but this still seems a bit odd.

I remember that A3 accident being discussed and I think there was a lot of doubt about it being real. An elaborate 'staging' if indeed it was, but there are a few things about those pics that don't add up.

At the time, do you remember all of the SN know-it-alls stating that "its a photoshop" (sic)? That being in spite of fact that it was plainly real and the occupants' remains being in plain view...
