Which of course is not the same as them not actually happening. Given the tendancy of muslim countries to blame the woman for the attack, and to then stigmatise the victim as unclean and not fit for marriage (and she can also be divorced on those grounds I believe) why on earth would any woman report it?

I am not so sure that we are as financially strong as all that really. The appearance that we are is based on the overborrowing from the IMF and given any kind of a recession will cost us dear believe me. Building on credit can a dangerous game.
