Had a quick blast on this last night (HMV finally delivered!). It looks great but the controls will take me ages to master. I gave up and went to bed after being constantly shot in the first proper mission trying to meet up with the helecopter. Currently reading Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six which has really put me in the mood for this game

I'm looking forward to Battlefront II on the 360 which looks a bit more "pick up and play"

 

Seen Splinter Cell 4 previewed in a mag today........CANT WAIT awesome games.

Kingofturdz, finally got this today just seem to be cannon fodder at the minute though

 

Had my 1st go last night. to many buttons Watch this space as maybe for sale 2nd hand real soon!

 

Is a bit fiddly,cod2 is a lot easier to get into,also seems to take forever to get a game on xbox live

 

It's also incredibly short on the single player mode. Just going through it on hard to get me moneys worth.....

Perhaps you can help me !
Im on the mission where you get the president (i think) and its all dark, as soon as you meet him 2 guards show up, then you have to try to get out( i think there are 2 ways out) maybe level 5 or 6 cant remember.
Anyway when you try to come out there are a couple of snipers plus others and its bloody annoying, tried this so many times now! any tips ?

Sounds like the part where you are underground on the building site..!

Exit the building carefully ( take either exit ) and take out the peeps who are behing the various crates ( seem to recall there are only about half a dozen to kill... When you exit you need to move towards the left and lay down as many smoke grenades as you can because a helicopter will fly over and try to shoot at you....

Your only about 2mins from the end of that level/mission....

 

the Co-op campaigns are excellent - pity they only included 4 but I expect there'll be a load more when the expansion packs appear.

I'm also going through on hard - hardest bits are the shooting from the helicopter sections - I seem to have completed some levels on hard quicker than I did on normal. Just about to start the Shanty Town next.

 

Just about to finish the campaign,took a while to get used to the controls but getting used to it now.if it was not for xbox live i dont think this game would have much life though

 

Wharf is a bit of a bugger when its just you left.

PS - dont shoot the chopper when you get to the extraction point

anyone else switched the controls to make it an FPS rather than 3rd person?

 

Yeah cant stand 3rd person,only found out you could do it on the 3rd level though,teach me to read the fecking manual next time

 

it definately makes it easier on multiplayer although I had to switch back on a couple of occasions to see where snipers were without getting my head ventilated.

Try the games where you defend a territory with enemys set to infinate - you're killcount will go ballistic and its quite handy for getting the 4 kills in 4 seconds acheivement.

 

Will give it a whirl,although finding myself playing on live mostly atm though

 

Is this something you host yourself or do you have to find a game like this.....

Mogsi - you can hold them yourself - usually team territory with enemy density set to infinite. Played it on "Nowhere" at it was bedlam. Heard of one lad who played it on Boneyard with infinite respawns and after 15 minutes had an average lifespan of 16 seconds but racked up 1200+ kills.

its quite handy for getting a few acheivements - 10,000 kills, 500 headshots, 4 kills in 4 seconds...

 

Does anyone else find on live that when you re spawn you cannot fire straight away,leaving you to be butchered by a laughing yank.

 

Ithink ive already been in a game with you m8, didnt know you were from scoobynet, since being on live i cant get of it.

Those of you thinking of selling this game........I wouldnt.
