Unhappy

I've just installed a new SB Audigy Player (upgrade from a SB128 PCI)

1) Its seems to overload my headphones very easily - They're not hugley expensive but arent airline style free either. (Sennheiser HD470) In particular I seem to get "clicks" in the right ear.

I run the headphones out of the headphone socket on my speakers (again typical £30 PC speakers - I almost never use them)

Has anyone else found this ? Can I tweak any settings (aprt from volume ) to help

2) Just tried C/S quickly and it sounds far too echoey everywhere with EAX. Is this C/S now showing its age ? I would have thoughr it should only be that echoey inside say the siege car park ?

3) Ghost Recon sounds good

4) How many ways can one sound card think of to screw up perfectly good sounding music effect this, environment that, Dream wtf ?

Any one else changed and noticed similair affects ?

Ta

Cool

Deano

Sometimes on siege in CS, it does sound echoey. It was sounding like that to me last night as you commented on it before running off. I've got SB Live 5.1

It only happens sometimes. Could be the card but I was thinking its more likely the connection or something.
