Just started playing Ghost Recon and it's superb...

The only trouble is I'm spending far to much time looking at the surrounding areas like a tourist and I keep getting wasted :0/

After Gameplay c0cked up my order I ended up getting it from my local Toys r Us, £44 with a free controller.. Happy Days

Ordered off Gameplay's website last Saturday, both FN3 and GR:AWF and FN3 arrived Wednesday, GR yesterday. Most impressed

Been using Gampeplay for years myself with no prior problems.. I ordered Ghost Recon months ago, order didn't turn up yesterday/today and they told me this morning I would have to wait till next week

After they also cocked up my PGR3 I'm not sure I'll being go back to them....

Brand new 360 arrived, still noisy as ****, but it works!

To be fair, MS sent out a new 360 within an hour or so of receiving the old one, DHL being the reason it all took so long.

I like Ghosty, but can't stop playing Fightnight.

In the demo you could press the LB button to go South Paw. Is it not the same in the full game?

Yeap Ghost Recon i was talking about and yes since the days of Golden Eye on the N64 i have played FPS on consoles Left stick to look around right stick to move foward back and strafe.

Any way it turned up this morning it is very good,

apart from the controls i got used to it but not as good if i had it the other way round when i get in firefights sometimes i start looking up and down when i'm trying to run forward and run forward when im trying to look.

Must have title apart from the dodgy controls for me anyway oh well the more i play this way the better i shall get (Hopefully)

Controls do take a little getting used to.

I find it much easier to kill goons if you switch to First Person permanantly though.

awesome game. Multiplayer Co-op is superb.

Just the guys im looking for.
I bought a 360 core yesterday + G.R.A.W + Fifa 06, im busting to get online with them but HOOOOOW. I had no cables to get on there BUT yet it says XBox Live Ready....Mmmmmmm....yea right.

Any one on live with a core system or should i take it back and get the premium package.
If option 2 what do i tell them thats wrong with it ( to get my coin back )

Scudy23, get the hard drive as an option. Back in October I had to buy the Core System and was lucky to buy the hard drive in another store. Good Luck!

Number of players in agame depends on the connection of the host - my crappy 512mb line says I can host 8 but in reality 4 is about the max.

Played with an American host yesterday with a T1 line - oh it was 16 player joy running around the Old Town...

Its the upstream speed that determines host speed. I'm on 10meg which downloads around 1100k but the upstream speed is only about 65k

I got myself a hardrive today but still cant get onto live through my pc,phoned help line and she was asmuch use as a chocolate tea pot how are you guys set up ?

ive also got the NTL 10Mb / 0.5Mb line and have hosted 12 on deathmatch games and the smaller campaign maps, but only 8 on the two larger campaign maps.

Call of Duty 2 is bandwidth hog, can only run 7 on that, all pings under 100, but as soon as an 8th joins it all goes pear shaped.

would love NTL to do a nice 1Mb upload package. hardly ever use the 10Mb download part of it.

Phoneline -> Modem/Router (combo) -> 5 Port Switch -> 360 Xbox. Works without a problem. Nevertheless, it took me about 1 hour to transfer my xbox-live account from my old xbox to the 360. I felt kind of stupid once it worked.
