What do you take supplement wise
One of the instructors at my work (he's fit as a fiddle but a little slim
) is hitting the whey protein shakes, and is slowly gaining some muscle mass (he's quite muscley already, but wants to beef out a bit), but he does hit it quite hard , he's doin well, but it seems alot of effort from a skinny dudes point of view
Im so glad im a bit more 'broad' to begin with

The biggest thing is your diet.
make sure you eat protein throughout the day. otherwise your body will catabolize the muscle that its trying to build, when you train you basically put microscopic tears in your muscles and you need adequate protein to repair this and grow. so eating s**t and not having enough protein is no good.
I've lost 3st yet put an inch on my arms in 3 months btw.
Whey proptein is good stuff - try the whey consortium or bulkpowders.com for cheap protein,
L-Glutamine is good as it makes you recover quicker ansd some people take tribulus terrestris and in fact i'm tring this at the moment as its meant to raise your test naturally.

Very true, altho ive never tried any of these types of shakes at all
I find regular exercise and weights, with a max of 1500 calories a day does me right, although, id like to be a massive ****** up top for my size
Keep hitting the bench press, and ill get back to being 'bulldog like' in shape again like i once was

Be careful with your diet mate - dont starve yourself you'll lose weight but it could be muscle, cut out all the crap i.e. pizzas, kebabs etc. and eat clean, made a massive difference to me

don't push to much weight and low reps
you'll just look squat, you want to have some deffinition in you arms etc
i like it when you can see the veins like hose pipes in your arms and you look more muscular with less bulk , a lot fitter looking,
starting off skinny always looks better, start big and its very hard to get the look you want
