I already have the 6 speed it just need 4th gear fixing have already had a quote for this. The FMIC i want is an APS one so price is about right on that.
The price is for the garrett IHI hybrid turbo.
The twisted GT30R is £1300 for the turbo
£699 for uppipe and down pipe
and £410 for the Tial external waste gate.
It all depends on the results of next weekends exploritary engine strip down.
If the block is ok then I might still try and get to my 450 - 500 bhp mark using the EJ20 block. I already have the crank and rods. It beggining to look very very expenisve.

If you're not in a rush, i'll have a 2.5 bottom end f/s later on in the year (summer time i think) and it'll cost you a lot less than £2000. It's only done around 10k and is being replaced with a 2.35. Also might be worth speaking to Andy Forrest with regards to turbo and mapping. Quite a sound genuine guy and knows his stuff. I know his name get's floated about all the time but i'm just going on past experience.
Andy mapped my 2.0. Top bloke he is too.
Why are you not happy with the 2.5? I'm still undecided that I am going down that route so I need to know now before its too late.

So you're going from a 350bhp (ish) setup to 500hp, with loads of different stuff and you think it will only need a "tweak"? Granted that with the same MAF and injectors, (if you retain the same fuel pressure) the fuelling will not be a million miles off, but as the power goes up, the time required to get it right goes up too. If you are using Andy, make sure he knows EXACTLY what the score is, turning up with 500hp expectations out of the blue isn't exactly helpful.

Yes, I was joking about the pub bit (hence the smiley).
Don't worry Paul, I had a discussion with Andy regarding parts, suppliers, specs, expectations, etc, before I even made enquiries on the block availability. He knows EXACTLY what I'm after.

Stage 1: 98 V3 Type R 2.5L Crawford Block with all the bits
Pistons, pumps, FX Reg, 550 Injectors, Power Fc, Clutch and flywheel, VF34 - currently 340-350BHP
Stage 2: AP brakes and Alloys, suspension (undecided at the moment as I dont do track days at the mo)
Stage 3: Turbo - soon to be followed by new gearbox through necessity rather than need !
Prices - you can get them down alot by doing alot more leg work !!!
Only looking to run 400 or slightly more.....and more..............best tip find a well paid job

Already have one (£30 an hour) Would be easy to write Roger Clark Motorsport a cheque and tell them to get on with it but thats not the point is it.
