Only a few more bits and pieces to do, should be some nice action from the screamer pipe , KL looks like it was factory fitted

Like has been said previously.....the engine bay is superb Steven....superb!

AND....no doubt the car is going to be a reasonable performer too. LOL

Good job it's forced induction, those plenum tracts don't seem to be equal in length!

I think there's a bloke somewhere looking for his air filter..............off his Volvo F12 wagon!! Do you think it's big enough?

Killa,
They are the DCCD lights, the KL is in the gauge pod

Marty,
The airfilter is much smaller than mine, which incidently steven gave to me
And as for the inlet, I personally would have modified a phase1 manifold for the car, but the manifold was done before steven had decided what he was doing enginewise

He's like a woman, changes his mind too much...

Right best get in the car and go sabbotage (sp) stevens attempts at SSO.

David

Andy, cheers for the warning.

Intercooler and radiator is the Lateral setup.

Simon, the exhaust and screamer appear low, because the car was jacked up about 2 foot off the ground at the rear.

No problem

Gearbox is a PPG 5 speed, with modena front diff and subaru DCCD centre diff, together with a Quaife rear diff.

No problems Joe. The ej257 is a good engine, i just wanted to go the 2.33 route, as the closed decking gave me more comfort.

FYI my uprated EJ257 with 2 hours of mapping managed an 11.8 at TOTB last year on a 5 speed PPG box.

Kev, fairly easy, just used a new wire from the boot.

Alan, its an R160 with a Quaife. If it breaks, i will be fecking cross, and going to an R180.

It should be good enough though, as it took the abuse on my old setup, and is the same as the Lateral car.
