If i'm ever ina position to do a similar project, i'll be hoping that i am able to get to the same level of finish, and dedication that this project has managed..... I'm sure David would like some income.... but he gets massive respect from people on here for the time and effort he puts into your car, and his own.... when like i say, he should probably be out doing paid work......

Big respect to David...

Stevens is one of the ONLY cars I like working on as much as mine, as I know I dont have to check things, we work the same way.. If its good enough for me then its good enough for steven and vice versa..

For example, made a bracket today for the map sensor, it got bolted on before steven had even seen it

Steven,

When's Pat mapping your car? Both me & Scoobyclinic have been trying to contact him for the past couple of days with no joy. My car needs a tweek on Saturday after they fit my headers & we were hoping he was around

I've kidnapped him, locked him in a room with his soldering iron, a pin board, several wiring looms and associated materials...along with a large supply of Dr. Pepper, Coke, curry and a very powerful ventaxia*

Meanwhile, excellent news Steven and you beat me to finishing, again

*Actually; I've no idea where he is

MAFFA, we could barely contact him last night, where he was had terrible phone reception. I believe he is in Ireland this weekend, hence why the car probably wont get mapped till next week some time.

Sounds like a tractor.

Tractors are cool though and I'm sure it will sound better "in the flesh" so to speak.

Well done for the speed of the projcet. I hate to think of the cost!!

It sounds bad in that clip, because the wind was quite strong and blowing into the garage, plus its on a crappy video phone, and the ecu is not setup to run it correctly, combined with the noisy twin plate clutch.

Cost is

Nope, once i bought the MG the Scoob became the toy. Having said that, it should be capable of the daily bind, although i begrudge paying the fuel bills now, having had 18 months of 45mpg in the MG

My car.

Map, Mot & Tax
Couple of cosmetic jobs.
Good Clean
Thrash
Fix Results from above..

To be fair nothing major is on the list, but things like PS need testing, Wire an output from the motec to the wire conviniently left from the DCCD which will deal with the Diff whilst launching

Crail is on same day so probably just go there for a shakedown Not so much grip there so less likely to break something.
Still waiting on my uprated driveshafts which had an ETA of 2 weeks, 4 weeks ago If they arrive, may trundle down
