That is reaching the point where it's an engine that's had a car transplant rather then the other way around :¬).

Last time I was at the pod I saw some VW Busses pulling low 11s (Porsche turbo units I'd guess), that was scary.

yeah but 2.83 not bad, yet it's slower over the 1/4 than the 630bhp mr2.

it's only a small car so running 4wd will give it plenty of go off the mark, the rs200 evo's were 700bhp (i think) as well, but they had a lower 1/4 mile - in the 10s, so maybe worse off the line but quicker once going

anyway, fair play, that's one hell of an achievement in that nova, absolute beast

Screech i think only problem the rs200 was it was 2 wheel drive , (dont slag me off if its not haha) im sure it was a 2 wheel drive beats , and only a 1.8 <--- b4 conversions

rs200 was actually 4wd, 37% front 63% rear split i think. but the post was about the evo versions anyway with 2.1 litre engines. the 1.8 was only about 380bhp.

i must say i enjoy seeing scooby's & evos getting waxed down the strip, thats the whole point, we all know there fast!!! so when they get beat u have to take ur hat of to them....was at the pod on saturday when a wr1 got beat by a h-plate gt4 he wasn't happy at all?
