I've only got 4 on vid so that's all there is!
I look forward to all the SSC quick guys showing their exploits on vid this year, I can get some good tips then.
I've pushed this hill climb game hard to gather a bit of interest and encourage some on here to compete. I can sit back and be entertained from April on
So: no more vids from me until I have a few fresh ones, but for the newcomer from Europe I'll post all 4 on here for the last time tonight!
Anyway, it's my thread!

On the insulation front, It acts as a barrier in both directions.
It will keep heat in (lagged down pipe) and stop heat getting in (TMIC pipes), just as double glazing does where the air trapped is the insulator.
Warm house in winter, cool house in summer.

The Ford 105E Anglia is very quick, just 3 seconds behind me!
Glad you liked the vids, even Jay liked them for the 25th time...
Not so sure about the driving, but the car is great!
Fresh ones in 10 weeks time!

The trip to Powerstation today for the demon AST's gave me the opportunity to realy look hard at the racer there

The FMIC/air intake is very neat and shows what can be done for good effect.
Really feel i should be reversing my manifold, and has given me some ideas for a demon fresh cold air intake for the cone filter..
That car really is just so nice.

Can't help on the vids, realy am not a computor type!
Kev, wood is lighter than steel as you well know, just shows the big guys do things correctly too! (though broom handles are the de-lux version, and the ones with rubber walking stick rubber cups on are the dog's bo!!ocks) )
I thought it a bit cheeky to picture the engine etc, but I do have a techie photographic memory so I know how that's been done with very short pipe runs. Secret is in the radiator! (as in water).
Jay, you know the answer to that question! It was very interesting to see an impreza laid bare with nothing in it, and also to see that an almost stock looking engine produces so much poke! How did he do that? The turbo is minute compared to my 20g.
Tempting to follow suit this Xmas for mine as it's value plumets still further...but can't tolerate messing about with trailers, done that and been there.

Reversing the manifold isn't that difficult to be honest, a link has already been posted to Paul's thread about doing it, and I have already reversed mine
A few more pics of the Powerstation car can be found on this thread: Powerstation track car

Some nice photo's there Graham
You would have been quite welcome to take a few shots of the race car, it's not exactly secret.
Oi !! you leave my blue heap alone.
It's coming along slowly

Those snaps by Tim are great, what a fab car it is (even in white Andy!) and something to keep in sight for the years to come.
I have 2 major jobs to do:
FMIC over the next few evenings and the Bathroom over the next few weekends (
).
tbh, if i can't weld it I find it very boring, but the cost to have it done would buy:
A 2.5 block and associated parts.....or
A Zen synchro shift box
So I need to do the 'ripping it apart' stage and PAY someone to put it back together...yuk.
Next time I'm close to PS I will pop in and do a few snaps...(and shamelessly steal the ideas)

Oh no not you on the white band wagon as well!
OK OK, inside white and engine bay white, but outside staying Blue.
unless someone comes up with a "design" I like for the outside.

Spent a 'cool' 2 hours in the freezing garage this afternoon to get the FMIC ball rolling.
Ready to come out for the last time:

Hey-presto, out:

The FMIC verses the TMIC:

Must paint the garage floor this summer..
The size difference doesn't come over in the pics, but it really is about 1.5 times the TMIC and thicker too.
Bumper will be the next chore, and it seems I have to take the headlamps out first...here we go.
Report soon (though I think I may be boring a few of you by now
)
Shall I reverse the inlet...or not?
Graham.

hi guys,
So it seems that the td05 20g might be able to make 400bhp at a push on a 2.0l but what will comfortably make it without sacrificing response on a fully built 2.0?
I've been thinking of going for a td06 20g but it doesn't seem very popular, what do you guys think?

The corners of the bumper are secured by a bracket to the front wing as this picture of the O/S front shows.
Weren't there any instructions with the kit?
