Any idea how long it would usually take for the scab to come off?

Or does it depend on a variety of factors?

Its going to take around a month for all the scabs to come off and the skin to stop peeling.

Be patient. You have to bear in mind that you have a self-inflicted wound that takes time to heal.

It's not a matter of being patient, it's the fact that it's starting to 'peel', regardless of how much E45 I place on the tattoo.

It's a fairly thick cross with thin angel wings coming from it, perhaps because the wings are so thin, recovery time (hence the scabbing/peeling) is much shorter?

Mine on bottom half of back started to scab after about 10 days which AFAIK is normal, I had no problems with re touching up etc
