Do you have a list of the mods you are currently running on your car to achieve these output figures? Also do you have e-mail address to discuss some mods in the event that I want to start chasing bigger HP figures via ECUTEK?
Cheers

I've got a set of Ledas for sale
I found the K&N cone did not change my AFR. I think the early cars have a less sensitive meter fitted. The air flow signal was also very steady when it was checked by a voltmeter.
IIRC you already have some sort of monitor on your O2 sensor ? If this behaved the same before and after a filter upgrade then it is likely to be ok.

Have Scoobymania (LINK internals) afr which reads rich (9%CO) all the time Andy.
Think I'll get the similar knocklink from them as well.
I also have a pipe that feeds air into the side of OE airbox from inside of wing.
Did get a MAF fault code on the select but it cleared after it was discovered monitor wasn't connected right!!!

Des, the mods are:
APS induction
MRT inlet
TD05 FE ported
Standard actuator fully tightened
APS FMIC
550cc injectors
Fuel pump
Forge Recirc DV
Cusco catch tank
Standard clutch and gearbox
1.67 bar midrange, 1.5 at 6000-7000 RPM
Decat exhaust
It is not a safe daily driver spec and I don't suggest you copy it unless you are prepared to take risks, be absolutely paranoid about det and use fair amounts of octane booster, as well as shred gearboxes regularly.
It is an intermediate/development state of tune and I am no longer using it as a daily car at this level. It will return as a daily driver if I feel I have the 2.5 litre with uprated gearbox reliable at 450 BHP and 400 lbft.

Hi John
Thanks for the info. Dont really want to take it quite that far (frequent gearbox shredding sounds a bit expensive), but I do want to move it up a bit. I would really like to discuss the ECUTEK upgrade (which I believe you do) as well as a few other things. Is it OK to use the e-mail address in your profile (dont want to hi-jack this thread)?
Cheers

some nice cars seen today.
good turnout at star. even an RS6... WOW!! Never seen a car drive it's way forward and out of the rollers before yes! i said drive, not bounce! It was close as the car was almost on the top of the roller ready to go off the front but was rescued from the brink of madness.
A good display of Scoobs, EVO's and a few Skylines too.
After a mad dash to the Airfeild things got underway quickly and smoothly. Most of the cars from star also moved on upto the strip.
The weather was even really good... how strange for scotland.
Good to meet a few of you guys too. Robin... hope the Duck Tape sorted yer prob

hi jason,
sorry to say the split intake pipe(the right angle to the turbo) looks like it has done the motor in, ie its been running weak for 1200 miles, even though i have been running in for 1000 miles its been making a strange blowing sound (wich turns out to be a sucking noise) so tomorow it comp test time and i will take it from there, though its running like a bag of sh*tty spanners
and sounds like cr*p.........
o well.....here we go again,
cheers all, robin (and the soon to be departed scooby)

Good day, loved the airfield, roller results a bit odd!
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...=171972&Page=6 Scroll to the bottom of the page for my results. Puzzling.
I loved Barry's RS6 Thanks for the ride.

Kosy, it kept failing the runs due to going into kickdown (yes it's a auto gearbox) they managed to get one run but that was trying to keep it off the kickdoqwn and not very reliable or near where it should be.. that was still 330 bhp tho, the 4th run was where it tried to make a audi dent in the extraction unit.
where did you get your RS6?

full power???
no chance, stopping at 300-320bhp,things get too expensive for the big power.
for now anyway
edit to add:car will be not be finished for a while yet.still waiting for the fuel pressure gauge as JB wants to monitor each mod stage with it.

I'll leave that to Andy F. 1/4s are not really my thing I think they are so unsympathetic to the gearbox and clutch. But I did quite enjoy it Will have a drag against you when the Moses Machine is in full health. By then I might have 5 bar fuel pressure intentionally to supply me needs
