hi it was a wonderful day and the rs6 is a beauty thats evo7barrys

nice to meet new people again and being the bitch of everyone hahaha as in i was the slowest today , got my car back after 7 months so today was the first day it was tested , it was very very ill , misfiring, over fuelling and fecking too rich it was letting out black and blue smoke and even a fire in the rr , lost alot of power today 72 bhp i lost from last yr , still the same mods except body , it was sad to the evo this way, dont know what went wrong and i had a swirl pot and 350 litre fuel pump hats whats overfuelling and the fuel pressure regulator wasnt measured for it so theirs fuel over the injectors but didnt think it would coz that much probs just got its too rich and misfiring

hope to get it soon
and wonderful of rice rocket and dougster coming over rice even had a shot of beating me lol and then also gave me a hike in his car inthe strip awesome sound and dougs wagon is a very fast wagon.

Myself, Hugh, Charlie and Keith arrived a bit late and missed a lot of the RR runs. Is there anywhere where the results from the day are going to be posted? Had a run at the airstrip in Hugh's Skyline - my word that car is rapid! He was doing 130 at the quarter mile markers!!! What sort of 1/4 mile time would that equate to? Cheers for a good day,

Don't deny the Skyline was rapid, would loved to have sat on his laptop for a run!

Robin, noooooooooooo that well sux has it been like that since you got it? hope the diags come back with some better news.

Kosy, it kept failing the runs due to going into kickdown (yes it's a auto gearbox) they managed to get one run but that was trying to keep it off the kickdoqwn and not very reliable or near where it should be.. that was still 330 bhp tho, the 4th run was where it tried to make a audi dent in the extraction unit.

Doug, that lad that was with me, he's my boss from work, i was due to start work at 12 today... he was kind enough to let me start at 2.30

Kevin, some fantastic launches i saw you doing there... shame the NOS ran out, that would have been cool!

SO did JBanks's scoob put hold everyone at bay then? was he beaten? i had to leave so missed a chunk of the airfield runs.

I do have some pics of cars looking pretty at the airfield and will post tomorrow.

All in all a good day was had by me!

130mph in the 1/4 ! wow ! That's 12 mph more than Keith's 580 bhp R33. By my calcs, on an R34 that would need around another 220 bhp !

The only run I seen the skyline do was against Kevins Escort Cossie and the cossie left it standing. From memory the cossie runs low 12's in the 1/4 (correct me if I'm wrong Kevin)

Well after forgetting to wake up & missing my ride up to star from Spanpody, I decided to head up in the ford, 5 minutes later, I had to go back home to get the camera which i'd forgot

I did manage to see 1 & a half cars on the rollers; and hear about the rs6

I hitched a ride with Moses to head over to the airfield. between getting lost & witnessing the stupid amounts of power from the Skyline in front, we made it . The weather was top notch, I got a few rides down the runway (thanks to Moses (evo4/6 TME hybrid )& Negri (evo5)). I got some pretty good photos including the 2nd time the plane swooped down onto the cars starting a run! That was a comedy moment!

I should have the photo's up soon, I need to get them developed first

Hugh only managed a couple of decent runs as he was having trouble with the clutch at launch. However, when he got it right it was seriously quick. My neck still hurts from the snap it got when he hit second gear!!

andy, yes it usually does low 12s

but i had been hoping for high 11s, the car has recently

been set up at turbosystems (tony is the daddy with 500bhp cossies)

but the startline at crail was too wet and greasy in the morning

so the best time was 12.7 @ 118 or 119mph i think

barry, pity about my clutch cable and your boost hose probs

it would be interesting to see how our cars compare

next time then!

yeah kevin its an awesome car and it was surely rapid

and hughs was a monster i think u missed it andy he let kevin off for a lil while then he blasted is car did u not see it, some one has it on tape i think i missed it on tape, hughs was the fastest

and i loved it when kevin did the doughnut after he beat rice while i was in his car lol kevin knows how to have fun and he done a nice 360 degree turn awesome

I was happy with my figures on the day, wasn't looking for anymore power just a health check. Barry's Audi was a bit of a scream, he shot away from us at the Forth road bridge tolls so fast I thought I had left my hand brake on It was a bit mental on the rollers as well.

Had a couple of runs on the airfield, good laugh

Moses, Sam, hope you get your motors fixed soon.

Got a bit lost on the way home , didn't have a fekin clue where we were, but eventually made it out

yes hughs car is rapid, but i backed off because my car had

started misfiring when i changed into third
remember i went away to change the plugs after that......
