Jza

My dealer informs me that chasing IM direct will now have a negative effect now as Tiggs has jumped the que (I am jealous as hell)they are receiving lots of calls to try and do the same.Dealers will be supplied on a first oredered first Delivered basis

Mind you I suppose its anybodys guess really

I just keep ring the dealer (loverly bloke just in case he is reading this)

Let me know if have any luck

opps!

i might have upset IM...

still, who cares

when i went for my test drive in a wrx in earley April my dealer told me there would be a PPP. now my dealer is, as far as i'm concerned, subaru. he has a big bloody sign up over his garage with subaru on it. now if IM want to then do the daft "oh its ready but you can't have it till this person whos JUST WALKED IN and bought a UK300 has it" then perhaps they should only sell cars direct out of IM. It could be one big garage where they told you what you'd get and when you'd get it.

as long as they use dealers then they need to inform them because if mine tells me something will be done then it better be because as far as i'm concerned thats subaru talking and its subaru who will get my moaning direct if it goes pearshaped.

and if that moaning ends up with a bit of que jumping then they've only got themselves to blame it that pi55es other people off who should have got PPP ages ago as well.

Tiggs

wait 5 months THEN join a que??????? what they think they were doing?
it's like me saying to my kid "want to go to toys r us" "yes please" "oh, not till dec, and then join the que because i might to take some other kids first, in fact you might be lucky to see the store this year"

i'm sure she'd do some bloody complaining too!

ps- my dealer was superb, pity they aren't IM

I'm equally fed up, well almost. I've waited 4 months now and it'll probably be another month before I get the PPP.

From Tiggs experience I decided to phone IM. Spoke to the accessories guy who was very helpful. He tells me I'm in the queue and they will be treating strictly on a first ordered first delivered basis, but with priority on the UK300. Apparently there are 50 UK300's left to deliver and some kit's have been reserved for them. So dependant on what happens when they are sold, this should free off some supply. The other problem is they only have 40 modded ECU's in the system at the moment. Each time a kit is fitted the ECU goes off for the new chip to be fitted, and so on.

So other than moaning, which probably won't help, we've just got to wait.

Anyway, I'm booked at TSL next week for Eibachs, so something hopefully to look forward to.

Result (well - bit of a result - but a result none the less).

Just kicked up a stink at my dealers. They are receiving 2 packs, one for a UK300 and the other one for ME . Fitted 2 weeks time!!!!

P'd off still tho. If it werent for the fact i keep the warrenty i'd definately be going the SS/Link route. God im a wuss letting them get my dosh after all this time! Bet everyone else feels like they been taken up the chocolatey funnel as well on this one.

Clock ticks.........

Question

Does anyone know whether IM have sorted out this "Yours is an import from Holland / Belgium, we will have to contact them and see how it effects your warranty before we do the work yet?"

Dont adam and b-leave this!!!

Just had the main man at my dealer ring. Says my pack HASNT infact been ordered (despite what the salesman said) and WILL NOT be ready for another 5 weeks min!!

Got stroppy (me - never ) and got the boss to put the salesman on the same line. He LIED OUT HIS **** saying he'd never said my kit was ready in 2 weeks like he'd said the day before!!!! Told his boss he was lying his *** off.

Jesus - this lot are serious muppets. They even lie amongst their own ranks. I have NEVER known of any sector where customers have to chase sellers for sales. Just doesnt happen anywhere else does it???

What a shambles this whole thing is. And then to top it off the boss doesnt believe Tiggs can possibly have a PPP fitted as IM's directors have assured him that no single dealership has any priority over another!!!

I wish i'd never bought my car now. Why didnt i go for the Evo 7?????? It will haunt me to the day i die.

Anyone else any news on availability??

Jza

They are not lies they are miscomunications

Dealers are very good at miscomunications!

My dealer said I was top of the list , but that was his list not IM's List

Still it should be within 2 weeks !!

i fully support your comments. i have chopped and changed a lot of cars, but the biggest bunch of muppets i ever dealt with were subaru dealers.
clueless, economical with the truth, incompetent, and greedy.their lack of product knowledge never ceased to amaze me!
if and when subaru make a scooby i actually want again, i would rather buy an import, i really would. i have nothing but contempt for uk dealers.
sure, some have nothing but good to say about them, and im happy for them, but EVERY dealership( except vauxhall )are far better, more helpful, better organised. best of the lot, shock horror, were bmw. superb in every way
i just hope ppp lives up to expectations

I am assured It will be very soon for me but if it goes past Sept will the list get longer

Would be nice for an official response

Cool

My PPP is being fitted today to my non UK300 WRX by Tileys in Bristol who are also doing another later this week, so the PPP's now appear to be making it to dealers, also having my STI7 rear spoiler fitted tomorrow, will post pics when all is done .

simon.
