Yeah some of it is a bit silly. That's not far from me in Northern Ireland. I wonder how that impacts their jobs through no fault of their own? Are the Russians still banned from the paralympics ? Imagine the training those people did in preparation for their big moment, overcoming their disabilities etc, just to be told "Nah you're banned"

You seem to be quite good at belittling someone because they have a different view from you but not very good at staying away from Westernised media and only seeing this issue from one side. Are you just 'biologically incapable' to understand that the West has been at the forefront of the events that have lead up to this?
Go and look at the history as I posted before. This doesn't start in 2022, its been an ongoing issue with Ukraine politically, since 2008 with HUGE involvement from the West to steer it in the direction it wants.

The UK's nuclear deterrent -Trident, is provided by the 4 Vanguard class submarines.
As far as I know, 1 sub is having a refit and 1 is on patrol at sea , therefore that leaves 2 in dock.
At this current heightened state of readiness , I would have thought all 3 should be at sea..

Agree, and even if it wasn't false that they could "just deal with China", it would still cause massive complications, upheaval for consumers and companies, and extra costs for the Russians to do this, because buying all the stuff an economy needs isn't the same as going to the supermarket and deciding that today you'll pay with bank notes in your wallet instead of using your debit card.

For one, if China doesn't have the things you want to buy, then you're SOL for those products or services.

Keep ignoring the history as I have said to you 3 times now, its hillarious reading your replies acting as if you are some sort of hive mind for intelligence, yet all you keep saying is 'ITS NO FAIR, THEY GET BOMBED', like some sort of knuckledragging neanderthal. Clearly you dont understand power politics, theres a huge difference between moral and strategic decisions, something the West know all too much about, certainly in the middle east but all around the world.
At no point have I personally said what the Russians are doing is acceptable. I have only pointed out the foundations that were formed prior to this conflict, looking back at the history and information on this issue and why the Russians have reacted the way they have.
The problem is, you don't want to understand what lead up to these event because any sources other than Western media you will just axe down as Russian propaganda. I haven't even begun to expand on how the West have taken the neo-**** quote (and many others) by Putin out of context. I'm willing to bet you haven't even watched any of Putins national speeches other than trimmed down 'interperated ones' shown on Western media.
Having dialogue on this issue with you is pointless as it's clear you've skimmed the surface of only Western media and will continue to do so whilst sitting in your pish stained sofa and jumping on the Russophobe bandwagon.

I look forward to having another conversation with you in approx. 10 years time when you are anti-Chinese when the conflict for the West pivots to Asia.
