Crikey, makes all that Hornby/Triang OO gauge stuff I flogged sound like a load of plastic tat (albeit British made tat).
Stuck it in a job lot on a 2 day auction for the weekend and was inundated with 'buy it now' requests despite it being auction only, finally to have the winner wanting it posted when I said collection only

I actually built an outdoor miniature railway for a client, over an area of about 100m x 60m. He ran very expensive German steam locos on it .He also had a annexe full of collectables, mostly Sci-fi, steam, and Tintin. His annexe was the size of my detached bungalow!
I love steam BTW

Yes, Pete has an AMAZING layout in 7mm scale.
Google "Leamington Spa model" https://www.petewatermansleamingtonspa.com/, loads of video too.
Also look for "Over Peover", a 7mm scale model based on the east coast main line, owned by John Ryan https://www.google.co.uk/search?ei=f....0.t2w21XTpN40

I'm into American outline and my interest was started by an American modeler, John Allen, who built a railroad empire in his basement.
