It has been advertised for the last 18 months still hugely over priced though. I have an WR sport, thankfully im not trying to sell but i recon i would be lucky to get 5k if i was to try and sell it

True, but if you wanted a nice RB5 you probably would'nt find a better one than that, hence the price, in my opinion the current climate does'nt come into play for a car like that

your spot on the kind of person who will buy that is not affected by the credit crisis!!! mileage does not mean it is mint i have seen plenty low milage cars with loads of dents it mearly means it's been driven to the supermarket and back i.e the dents lol

Why is'nt it?! The RB5 is personally my favourite Impreza special edition and if I had a spare 11k and the space etc I would consider it. particulary that one, signed service book, loads of Subaru stamps and the WR sport version, it's low miles and if it is as described it sounds like it could be one of the better ones in the country.
Like the guy say's surely it's a collectable one?
If you were buying it as a daily driver and to thrash and modify I would agree with you.

Well for you that maybe the case!!
if i had 11k to spend on a scooby i would not even consider that car!
collectors or not
i think most people will agree that you could get a whole lot better for the money!

Simply saying for the right car of your choice I don't mind paying over the odds to get something I really wanted. More so with the one the op showed due to signed service book and service history etc. Definately one to park in a garage and drive on a Sunday afternoon.
These type of cars in standard form and low mileage are becoming extremly rare and have alway's been appealing to me. I admit though I may not be up to date with current market prices on them
